Technical Helpdesk

1) Issue Management

a) Log all incoming calls and email and record sufficient information to facilitate effective incident

processing.

b) Identify the impact, urgency, and priority of incidents

2) Provide initial troubleshooting and support for incidents.

3) Escalate incidents that cannot be resolved by the service desk to the appropriate Application

Maintenance team and monitor progress.

4) Seek confirmation for closure from the user when resolution is provided.

5) Serve as the first point of contact for all incidents

6) Prepare issues statistic for reporting purposes.

7) Prepare daily, weekly and monthly report Daily monitoring

8) Liaise with client to clarify issue and assign issue to team for resolution.

9) Track and report on issues resolution.

10) Assess common issues and suggest improvement points.

11) Track and report on day-to-day operations to maintain system stability

Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor application systems
• Provide technical consultancy and support to the operational users in the enhancement of existing applications technologies and systems, review and endorse technical design for all projects, work with users and vendors to implement enhancements that meet users’ requirements and thus enhances the current work processes.
• Identify, evaluate and recommend technical refresh of the application systems and technologies that would benefit and also maintain existing systems and projects.
• Manage and monitor the performance of the vendors engaged for the projects to ensure their contractual and Service Level Agreement (SLA) compliance, and to take appropriate corrective actions in cases of poor performance.
• Plan and manage the progress and budget of application projects and resolve arising issues so as to ensure the timely completion of the projects as scheduled.

Requirements
