Role

• Working together with the Head of IBD and other members of the IBD team, develop and implement the sales strategy to promote the firm's investment solutions
• To drive growth in AUM sales in assigned distribution channel and provide broad based team support in the distribution of Nikko AM suite of fund solutions in Singapore and in the region

Key Responsibilities

• Increase profile and penetration of Nikko AM's fund solutions in targeted client base. Deliver on AUM and revenue targets within assigned channels
• Develop a clear understanding and be fully conversant with Nikko AM solution set and be able to provide credible explanations to intermediary clients. Taking direction from the Head of Intermediary Business Distribution and working closely with the business development team to:

• Ensure expedient and accurate resolution of all incoming inquiries by intermediary clients
• Prepare and produce general and customized sales decks/ presentations that comply with regulations, Nikko AM’s company policies and strategic sales themes. Perform basic macro market research from reliable primary and secondary sources for the preparation of sales and marketing content, sales deck and presentations
• Assist with collateral production process to ensure continuity of product and compliance approval
• Assist on new intermediary account on-boarding specifically with know-your-customer and anti-money laundering procedures
• Support servicing requirements for existing client base, and where appropriate, prospect and educate potential new-to-business intermediary clients

Knowledge and Skills

• Sound investment knowledge and understanding of financial markets.

Our software engineers for product infrastructure role combine software and systems engineering disciplines to run high-performance, large-scale distributed infrastructure. This means you will be deeply involved in the developmental lifecycle of critical software services, collaborating closely with product engineers to combine software code and systems knowledge to ensure that TikTok e-Commerce's services are reliable, fault-tolerant, efficiently scalable and cost-effective. You will also be leveraging your software engineering expertise to develop software platforms and tools to optimise the operational and engineering efficiencies of complex systems at scale, with particular focus on improving the systems' observability, performance and maintainability.

In this role, you will:

1. Building and managing the Global SRE team, including team recruitment, new talent training, system operation/maintenance/coordination and team culture building.

2. Improve the cross-team/time zone/regional cooperation mechanism, and provide SRE solutions in line with actual business scenarios based on business orientation.

3. Responsible for SRE team arrangement and project management, guiding basic SRE work to be more effective, and improving the overall SRE efficiency.

4. Develop process specifications and plans for compliant access, configuration, disaster recovery and fault handling of critical paths of overseas SRE services.

5. Responsible for continuously improving the core SRE capabilities of Global E-commerce SRE in efficiency, cost, quality, security, etc.

6. Develop automation, data visualization and automated monitoring processes to facilitate the optimization of the TikTok e-Commerce platform infrastructure.

7. Drive the design and engineering of tools, as well as platform solutions, to optimize product engineering and operation efficiencies.

8. Manage oncall processes to respond to performance and reliability issues, and establish best practices for coordinating escalation to resolve issues and minimize downtime.

9. Oversee the acquisition and development of software systems in organisational units.

10. Monitor the results and quality of the different software solutions and projects implemented in the organisation.

11. Oversee the development of Proof-of-Concept/ solutions and provide technical expertise on the development of software and platform features, ensuring that appropriate security and risk factors are considered.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Programming & System Analysis, Science (Computer Studies) or related discipline and good English communication skills.

2. Familiar with SRE related processes, understand the development trend of SRE technology in the industry, and have a good ability to build an SRE system, 5 years+ experience in E-commerce industry.

3. Familiar with cloud computing technologies of Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform and other suppliers.

4. Demonstrable experience in one or more programming languages such as Java, C++, Go, or scripting experience in Shell and Python.

5. Expertise in operations, deployment, high availability and quality assurance of large-scale distributed systems, with a strong focus on stability and performance.

6. Possesses a strong sense of responsibility, a proactive team spirit, and a strong ability to comprehensively analyze and solve problems.
