We have an immediate opening for an IT Manager (2 year contract)
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. IT Infrastructure and Support
a. Oversee IT infrastructure, ensuring reliable performance and security.
b. Manage, maintain, and improve IT systems, including network, server, and telecommunications.
2. Assistive Technology & Technology Initiatives
a. Identify and introduce suitable assistive technology for the deaf, deafblind and hard of hearing community
b. Monitor and stay updated on technological solutions that could benefit our clients and the organisation.
3. IT Project Management
a. Plan, execute, and oversee IT projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and within budget.
b. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements, objectives, and deliverables.
c. Coordinate with external vendors and manage vendor relationships for outsourced projects and services.
4. Cybersecurity and Data Protection
a. Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies and protocols to protect against security threats.
b. Ensure compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and other relevant regulations.
c. Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments and risk mitigation strategies.
5. Productivity Tools & CRM Management
a. Administer and optimise Google Workspace for organisational needs.
b. Train and support staff in using productivity tools, including Google Workspace
c. Identify and recommend opportunities for digital transformation to streamline operations and improve efficiency, and new tools that improve productivity and collaboration.
d. Ensure the CRM system is optimised for user experience, data integrity, and reporting capabilities.
6. Telecommunication and Phone Systems
a. Manage and support the organisation's phone systems, ensuring cost effective and reliable communication channels.
7. Admin & other duties
a. Secretariat for IT Committee
b. Attend Singapore Sign Language Level 1
c. Any other reasonable and lawful duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Requirements:
â—Ź At least 7 years of relevant working experience in IT management, ideally with some experience in a non-profit or social service organisation.
● Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
â—Ź Experience in assistive technology and leading tech initiatives
â—Ź Experience in managing CRM platforms, project management, and cybersecurity.
â—Ź Strong understanding of digitalisation and productivity improvement.
â—Ź Proficient in Google Workspace administration and other collaborative tools.
â—Ź Knowledgeable in PDPA compliance, data privacy regulations, and information security standards.
â—Ź Good problem-solving skills, with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
â—Ź Good interpersonal, communication, and project management skills.
Good to have:
â—Ź Certifications in cybersecurity (e.g. CISSP, CISM) or project management (e.g. PMP, Scrum).
â—Ź RPA knowledge and application
â—Ź Basic knowledge of Singapore Sign Language
