Sales Manager

We are looking for a high-performing Sales Manager to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. You will be responsible for maximizing our sales team potential, crafting sales plans and justifying those to plans to the upper management.

Sales Manager Responsibilities

• Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
• Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure it’s strong presence
• Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives
• Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
• Implementing new sales plans
• Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
• Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status

· Identifying opportunities and strategies to increase sales.

• Perform any other duties assigned by the director.

Sales Manager Requirements and skills

• BS/MS degree in business administration or a related field
• Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
• Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences
• Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
• Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
• Strong business sense and industry expertise
• Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills Knowledge of data analysis and report writing.

Introduction :

The Enterprise Account Manager is an individual contributor role responsible for managing a portfolio of current Apptio customers. The successful Account Manager combines IT operational and financial understanding with solid business acumen. You will consistently need to position the value of Apptio’s suite of applications to your customer’s senior decision makers. This role is a key leadership role in the APAC sales team and will report directly to the VP of APAC sales.

Your Role and Responsibilities :

• Manage a portfolio of current Apptio Enterprise customers, engaging in a continual selling effort to enhance the value of the Apptio solution and create demand for additional revenue opportunities beyond the initial subscription business.
• Focus on building relationships across a range of personas and functions within the customer organization, to include IT Operations and Finance. Interact at both the senior executive and operational management level to effectively convey the Apptio value proposition and promote use and adoption within the customer’s organization.
• Manage multiple complex sales efforts simultaneously, supporting a renewal base of multiple millions of dollars in annual revenue.
• Forecast business accurately and close both new and renewal revenue opportunities for Apptio’s Technology Business Management SaaS offering.
• Articulate the Apptio value proposition to senior business leaders including the CIO, CFO, and their senior staff. Solve problems promptly and efficiently by marshaling the required Apptio resources and leading the collective team to enable customer success.
• Be passionate about ensuring a customer realizes significant value with Apptio.

Required Professional and Technical Expertise :

• Experience should be with market leading companies that dominated their segment.
• Knowledge and experience in managing a highly complex technology sales process is essential.
• Demonstrated experience with financial concepts and practices as it relates to IT management.
• Experience in selling SaaS solutions, business/financial applications, or BI solutions is a plus.
• Candidates must be able to have a credible voice with customer executive decision makers and stakeholders.

Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise :

• Requires a minimum of 10 years of highly successful enterprise technology sales experience, and/or large account management experience, with a demonstrated track record of consistent over-achievement against assigned quotas.
• Frequent travel required visiting prospects and customers.
• Need to be able to work independently from home and during travel in an unstructured and fluid capacity to meet simultaneous sales objectives.
• Remote customer and internal work required; need to be comfortable in extended phone conversations, conference calls, and remote computer sessions.
• Work or travel on a weekend is sometimes required to meet customer and prospects needs to ensure successful revenue generation.

Requirements

1. Education Requirements - bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering or Construction

2. 10 years of experience in a similar role

3. In-depth knowledge of Singapore Construction Industry

4. Familiar with current market pricing

5. Excellent presentation and communication skills

6. Proficient in Microsoft Office PowerPoint and other general software

7. Ability to coordinate 2 or 3 tenders concurrently

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Analyse tender documents and understand the needs of the Client

2. Plan and coordinate bid preparation to ensure deadlines are met

3. To review the overall pricing of tenders and ensure the correctness of costing

4. Liaise with other managers/departments to agree on bid details

5. Maintain database for submitted tenders

6. Ability to develop tender strategies

7. Able to present to Management on the basis of offer and pricing

We are looking for a design-qualified Product Manager that is able to blend the artistic skills of product design with the strategic planning abilities of product management. You will be responsible for leading both the conceptualisation and the actualisation of product features, driving them from idea to market launch.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in product design or product management
• Strong portfolio that demonstrates expertise in design and product strategy
• Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD) and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana)
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work in agile development environments
• Preferable experience in evolving and scaling an existing product
• Preferable experience in HR-tech, Edu-Tech, SaaS or AI product design
• Techno/Functional consultants with prior functional solutioning/designing experience are welcomed too

Job Description & Requirements

• Governance the tender process from pre-bid preparation, tender handling, post-tender analysis
• Managed the assigned tenders by working directly with key stakeholders including but not limited to commercial owners, station pricing team and network partners and P&L owners
• Responsible for bid/RFQ qualification review with commercial owner to identify the business potential of each bid
• Perform conversion between client’s bid template into internal pricing sheet
• Collect rates and service information from the station/country pricing team and network partners
• Perform sanity check on the quality of submission from station pricing team/network partner in terms of rate competitiveness, service level, rate response to client’s feedback
• Submit tender/RFQ via client-appointed platforms/formats in a timely manner
• Communicate tender results and perform analysis to all relevant stakeholder whenever is needed

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Shipping or Logistics Management, or equivalent disciplines is highly preferred
• At least 3-5 years’ experience in country pricing or regional tender team in a sizeable international freight forwarder, experience in airfreight / ocean freight operation, customer service, sales support would be highly preferrable
• Advanced excel skills with strong analytical mindset
• Good command of English in both written and oral
• Detail-oriented with strong business acumen would be an advantage

Job Description:

• Responsible for overseeing the handling, storage and disposal of hazardous or toxic materials.
• Provide a prompt and appropriate technical advice to Sales and Operation Personnel on their waste management enquiry which includes waste handling procedure and costing
• Developing and implementing plans for safe waste disposal activities by compliance with environmental regulations
• Evaluating the potential impact of new technologies on the field of hazardous waste management
• Reviewing emergency response plans and conducting drills to ensure that all staff are prepared for all possible scenarios

Job Requirements:

• Knowledge of local ,rules/regulations(NEA) on hazardous materials management.
• Minimum GCE ‘N’ Level certification with min of 4 years of relevant work experience
• Candidate attended WSQ Environmental Course and had experience as part of CERT team members is a plus point as well
• An effective team player with good communication skills
