Job Description
Position: IT Support Engineer
Duration: 12 months
Service Locations and Facilities:
TIS shall provide the basic infrastructure facilities such as a desktop PC, telephone line, Email and Internet access and premises necessary to provide the Services and ensure that these are suitable for a safe working environment.
Hours of Operation:
The Supplier will provide the Services between 8:30AM to 5:30PM Singapore local time, Monday to Friday.
Service Description:
Onsite Wintel (at Location 1)
Wintel
New notebook & Desktop OS & applications installations to TIS baseline
Notebook & Desktop software and hardware repairs
Installation & repair of PC peripherals (i.e Printers , Mice)
Installation & configuration of TI approved software
Ensuring Key service running (i.e TLM Backup, Disk Encryption, Patch management, Antivirus)
Coordinate with vendors on the parts replacement/fault repair
Executive IT support & Video conference support
Office Area MAC (modify/add/change) - handle all related tasks
Network MAC - Assist in office moves patching network ports in the IDF rooms, patching to the desks.
IP Phone MAC (move/add/change)
Network faulting PC/Client - troubleshooting, level 1
Data Centre support
Network patching and cabling
Moving & installing equipment as directed
Handle HW installation, decommission, break-fix as requested
Patching of cables, labeling.
Coordinating & escorting cleaning personal as needed to meet compliance requirements
Escorting Vendor reps as needed to support run & maintain vendor onsite tasks
DC environmental monitoring
Monthly audit walk-thru & findings documentation / tracking, looking for fault lights, security hazards, etc.
Asset Management (AMS/Server config) for all IT infrastructure
IDF rooms:
Maintenance / work within IDF rooms
Coordinating & management of room cleaning as required
Break/Fix level 1 of IDF room switch equipment
Spares:
Configuring and testing offline spares, level 1
Checking and maintaining offline spares database
Wireless Network:
Airwave wireless health monitoring
Wireless AP MAC
Windows Server
Health metrics (SCCM, Alarm monitoring/management, Nessus scans, backups)
Standard administration / environment patch management
Remote 'office-in-a-box' management (Lenel, ESP, MDT)
Asset/Inventory tracking (AMS, Fleet, Server configuration, etc.)
Administration / Configuration
Cisco Call manager configuration, basic tasks only (Level 1)
Free IP-addresses administration (client networks)
Printer queue administration ,Infoblox MAC
Documentation:
DC/IDF documentation / drawing maintenance & updates of existing, up-to-date documentation.
AMS (asset management) for all PC and network hardware
Adhoc - On Call Support
Network
Physical Network equipment installation, including initial setup
Patch coordination
H/W failure faulting and management
Assist onsite with TIS personal for larger projects (upgrades/moves)
Data center
Physical Server installation
OS/Baseline installations
Patch coordination
HW failure management
Co-ordinate onsite Server repairs with 3rd party vendors contracted to TIS
