As a IT Manager | Desktop Support, the broad area of your job responsibilities will cover the following:

Ability to guide the team and resolve incident escalated by Desktop Support Assistant in confirming the validity of the problem and seeking and researching for known solutions related to these more complex issues.

Performed Desktop Support services to users

This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting and actively resolving end user help requests and escalating incidents when necessary to maintain customer satisfaction and SLA expectations.

Perform asset inventories

Perform technical escalation to 3rd party vendor or resolver groups (where appropriate)

Updates Incident records

Creates and updates work instructions (where necessary)

Document standards and procedures (where necessary)

Ideal candidate should possess the following:

Min 7 years’ Service Desk front and back-office experience with experience in leading a team

AV equipment experiences will be a plus

Experience in managing virtual team

Strong people management and leadership skills

Strong analytical and project management skills

• Logging customer interactions and creating support tickets for tracking purposes.
• Escalating unresolved issues or complex problems to higher-level support tiers (e.g., L2 or L3 support) when necessary.
• Effectively research, collect, organise, and disseminate information in a timely fashion.
• Prepare correspondence, memos, reports and other written materials.
• Create documents and materials utilizing Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Follow procedures for tracking projects to ensure completion.
• Coordinate service delivery in operational phase.
• Support invoices creation and ensure invoices are processed in a timely manner.
• Maintain complete and updated files and records in accordance with standards of the team.
• Support Business Analyst on data quality issues and reporting.
• Provide administrative and regular support to other departments or CUPPS operation as needed.
• Complete daily paperwork and projects on a timely basis.
• Managing and maintaining office supplies and equipment.
• Responsible for records management task such as collates, updates, and monitor operation support maintenance renewal contract.
• Participates and supports in operations, and any other duties as and when assigned or appointed.

Job Description

1. On-site technical support including the setting up of computer hardware systems, installing and upgrading software, troubleshooting and resolving IT issues, coordination with third party vendors for issue resolution, etc. as per agreed Service Levels.

2. Ensure 100% compliance to within Service Level Agreement objectives (SLA)

3. Accountable for satisfactory resolution with CSAT score >90% for fast and effective support.

Job Requirements

1. Working with end users to find out the nature of the problem.

2. Troubleshooting hardware, software or application issues.

3. Installing and maintaining hardware and computer peripherals.

4. Installing and upgrading operating systems and computer software.

5. Troubleshooting networking and connection issues.

6. Resolving problems and performing IMACs (installs, moves, adds and change) and completing all related administrative duties.
