Account Executive - Sales

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Enterprise Cloud Solution Sales expert to join the Ollion Sales team in a fast paced, growth stage business that is accelerating its well-regarded leadership position in a game changing industry. The role will report directly to the Director, Sales and will be responsible for owning and building their assigned territory.

A successful candidate will be a true hunter and have a proven track record of building and maintaining a large book of business in the enterprise and SMB space.

Responsibilities

• Develop a strong presence within territory with both customers and partners.
• Position Ollion as a trusted, strategic business partner to customer with differentiated value proposition.
• Drive revenue and market share within defined territory.
• Develop and execute against territory plan to consistently deliver quarterly revenue targets.
• Prospect on a continual basis to ensure net new business pipeline targets are consistently met.
• Proactively build and expand on existing customer relationships to drive net new revenue opportunities.
• Accelerate customer adoption of cloud professional services and software products.
• Negotiate and close agreements at the executive-level.
• Engage partners to develop and execute joint selling approach to customers where appropriate.
• Manage numerous accounts concurrently and strategically.
• Provide accurate monthly/quarterly revenue forecast through disciplined sales and pipeline methodology.
• Leverage internal resources at multiple levels to build and deliver the best solution for the customer.

Must have

• 5-7 years of quota carrying cloud services, enterprise software or professional services sales experience.
• Track record of successfully carrying a quota of at least $2M.
• Track record of exceeding quota (top 10%-20% of company) in past positions in enterprise or mid-market.
• Experience managing the sales cycle from business champion to executive-level decision maker (CXO, VP).
• Experience negotiating and closing software and services contracts, including proposal and SOW creation.
• Experience building strong relationships with customers and partners.
• Strong hunter approach to business development and prospecting
• Excellent consultative /solution selling methodology to understand business problems and define solutions.
• Demonstrate strong business acumen by presenting solutions to decision makers (CXO, VP).
• Strong knowledge and experience in AWS, Azure, GCP and other service offerings.

Good to Have

• Experience selling Dev/Sec Ops, Application Modernization/Software Engineering solutions a plus
• Experience with customer relationship management software like Hubspot or Microsoft CRM.
• Be highly adaptable and thrive in an environment that is evolving and less-structured.
• Travel to and within territory as needed.

Job Description

• Responsible for managing, organizing, planning, and executing all activities, events and program for Community Relations (CR)
• To plan and execute the department’s annual workplan
• To develop programs/events to facilitate for Community Relations’ programs, events and activities
• To organise visits to Buddhist Culture Temple and Museum as a community outreach
• To organise activities/program for volunteers eg, Provide training, support and bonding
• To organise local/overseas Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) outreach programs
• Support the temple events and activities when required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree / Master Degree
• Minimum 3 years of museum or / and corporate communications or Buddhist-related experience
• Able to build rapport and conduct presentations
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with English and Mandarin-speaking stakeholders
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate well to people of all levels.
• IT Savy
• Independent as well as good team player with good planning and organisational skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work within a time frame with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work on weekday weekends, certain public holidays and related festives.
• Preferably possess adequate knowledge of Buddhism for planning CR programs.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Deliver and conduct scheduled lessons and/or trainings as per Engagement Agreement;

· Prepare courseware and assessments;

· Grade coursework, theoretical, and/or practical components;

· Provide academic counselling and feedback to student when required;

· Provide academic advice as deemed appropriate.

Requirements

· Possess at least a Master Degree or PhD from a reputable education institution in either areas of:

• Computer Science
• Information Systems
• Information Technology
• Digital ethics and data privacy
• Business Analytics
• Information systems, management and organizations
• Data mining and machine learning
• Database and data visualisation (SQL, NoSQL, relational database systems, document database, visualisation of data etc.)

· Preferably with relevant teaching experience;

· Have excellent Presentation & Communication Skills with adult learners;

· ACTA / ACLP certified would be an advantage;

Event Manager

Singapore

The Event Manager is a hybrid role in that it includes aspects of leadership, account management and operations delivery. This is no small task; it demands professional maturity, reasonable event experience, superb relationship-building skills and compelling team dynamics.

The Event Manager works on a variety of programs and serves as the day-to-day planning contact for identified clients.

The Event Manager is accountable but not limited to:

• The development, planning and overall operational execution of meetings, conference,incentive programs and special events for customers.
• Day-to-day project planning functions, including but not confined to overseeing elements such as website development, attendee management and budget management.
• Where necessary, documentation of operating processes and ensuring adherence to customer compliance processes and regulations.
• Revenue management of projects, including project reconciliation and working with the Associate Director, Event Solutions on final program billing and reporting of P&L to Finance.
• Work with Associate Director, Event Solutions on pitch submission and attend pitch presentation where required.

Your responsibilities

Overall:

• As a key point of contact with clients, provide a consultative approach to program planning, ensuring the client has identified clear objectives for the outcome of the meeting, event or program.
• Work with clients to develop, source and meet the objectives and identified goals of the event.
• Assist in selling in the solution to the client/prospect as part of the pitch team.
• Develop proposal and estimated budget for pitches and attend pitch presentation where required.
• Troubleshoot issues and propose solutions to Associate Director, Event Solutions; where necessary, escalate issues to Client Account Manager and/or Associate Director, Event Solutions.

Pre-Event:

• Assist in the planning and management of site inspections, serve as BCDME representative for suppliers and clients as required; follow up with site inspection takeaways, insights and recommendations, including updated estimated budgets, program itineraries and timelines.
• Negotiate and purchase hotels, venues, ground transportation, technology, media and production (audiovisual), speaker bureaus, entertainment and décor elements via preferred Destination Management Companies and/or direct vendors.

Planning & Execution:

• Plan and manage meetings, conferences, conventions or special events that could include large numbers of participants, multiple hotels and venues, multiple internal client staff, multiple client audiences and corresponding agendas, and on-site staff.
• Prepare all necessary documentation required for client planning/strategy meetings, program walk-through meetings and client debrief meetings.
• Facilitate the creative direction and fulfillment of program-related participant and host communications materials.
• Onsite execution and management of event.
• Reconcile all final billings on-site prior to final billing being sent to Finance and ensure final billing timeline is met.
• Track and manage vendor attrition, cancellation and payment schedule.
• Ensure the meeting is managed in a compliant manner according to clients’ requirements, including safety and security.

Day-to-day:

• The Event Manager will collaborate with the internal team and sales to create proposal and develop/procure costs in facilitating new and repeat business proposals.
• Manage program budgets; present program budgets to Associate Director, Event Solutions for review and approval prior to sending to the client.
• Train and coach team members (Assistant Event Manager, Event Coordinator or Intern) and provide ongoing support to new team members
• Escalate feedback/suggested changes to Associate Director, Event Solutions

• An undergraduate degree in a field relevant to the role could help greatly.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in planning meetings, incentives, conventions, conferences and special events.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in managing external partners, suppliers and vendors, sourcing and negotiating contract services.
• Experience in account management.
• Experience in leading/working in a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in software/apps including but not limited to Cvent, On24, Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Cisco Webex.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Database Management.

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
• CMP/PMP certification strongly preferred
