The IT Data Analyst, APAC reporting to Head of IT, APAC will play a critical role in driving breakthrough results for Shark Ninja’s APAC operations by developing and operationalizing data-driven solutions. This role will focus on creating and maintaining business dashboards, market share reporting, investment analysis, NPD tracking, and setting the stage for a comprehensive APAC Data Warehouse and Reporting solution.

Roles & Responsibilities

APAC Data Warehouse and Reporting Solution:

• Work closely with stakeholders to map out the current IT data landscape, understanding data sources, granularity, and update frequency.
• Support the Data Cloud & Architect Manager in the setup of a future state data warehouse and reporting solution.
• Rebuild and transition reports from existing platforms (Power BI, Tableau) to the finalized reporting tool.

Holistic Business Dashboard Development:

• Consolidate and define key business KPIs across financial, commercial, and operational metrics.
• Design workflows to streamline the dashboard creation process, integrating with current systems and preparing for future data warehouse implementation.
• Provide high-level analysis and actionable insights to drive APAC business performance.

Market Share Reporting & Analysis:

• Develop a standardized dashboard for market share reporting across local markets.
• Automate market share reports and collaborate with the sales and CI teams to provide insights on SharkNinja’s portfolio and key competitors.
• Operationalize monthly market share highlights for timely and impactful reporting.

Investment Analytics:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design frameworks for assessing ROI for various investments
• Provide insights on investment effectiveness and assess data readiness across regions for further application.

NPD (New Product Development) Launch Readiness Tracking:

• Develop systems to efficiently track NPD readiness, highlighting the potential for market success.
• Operationalize post-launch tracking to assess progress toward key targets and enable timely course correction.

Required qualifications / experience:

• Min Masters in Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Excel) and experience in developing dashboards and reporting systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on actionable insights.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, finance).

• Perform checks on the structural, architectural and M&E materials/works to ensure that the final touch-up works are ready for inspections.

• Monitor the performance of subcontractor workers for all trades and ensure any defects are properly rectified
• Prepare relevant QA/QC reports
• Implement QA/QC plans and ensure PPVC quality before delivery
• Ensure the functionality of the product before handing over to buyers

• Assist in yearly ISO audits
• Assess, feedback on the construction process and procedures
• Execute quality control as per site specific materials and Works Quality Plan.
• Conduct relevant training for sub-con and internal staff.

• Monitor undertaken corrective and preventive actions against non-conformities.
• Arrange and liaise with BCA for CONQUAS/QM assessments.
• Recommends solutions for critical and/or frequent recurring defects to Project Team.
• Ensure all the method statement used has obtained approval from the clients and consultants.
• Follow-up all the required tests as per contract requirement.
• Attend regular site meetings – QAQC, Landscape Coordination Meeting and Client Meeting.
• Attend off-site inspection – Precast and Structural Steel Works (Malaysia and Singapore Factory)
• Follow the developer’s Quality Inspectors (QI) and Customer Service Officers (CSO) for inspection prior to unit handover to owners.
• Attend to unit owner’s defects during Defect Liability Period.
• In-charge of the handover of the common areas to management team.

· Review monthly reconciliation of AP relevant GLs and statement of accounts

Financial and management reporting

· Assist in the monthly close and timely preparation of financial reports, head office reports, budgets/forecasts,

performance management reports as well as variance analysis. This includes hands-on tasks such as

preparing/checking of accounting entries and supporting documents.

· Prepare/review audit schedules, intercompany and bank reconciliations

· Support the development of business plans, forecasts and risk analysis and communicate business information

effectively to business owners

· Develop, update and enhance data dashboards to provide timely insights as required by the business owners

· Assist in the timely preparation of financial statements and tax returns in compliance with FRS, Company’s Act

and tax regulations

· Review and submit GST and withholding tax returns

· Prepare and submit government surveys and statistical returns

· Handle corporate secretarial and treasury/banking related matters

Others

· Ensure both internal and external customers are served promptly and effectively

· Oversee accounting procedures and internal controls (implementing, monitoring, enhancing) and ensure that strong internal controls and processes are in place

· Review and streamline existing workflows and processes to improve documentation and efficiencies

· Take charge of finance related projects
