Bruker Singapore is seeking for an IT Service Engineer based in Singapore. He/ She is responsible for providing technical support and assistance to end-users within an organization. They are tasked with troubleshooting and resolving software and hardware issues, as well as configuring and deploying new hardware and software systems. The ideal candidate for this role should possess excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. This is a two years contract (subject to renewal).

Areas of Responsibilities :

• Operate the day to day IT Service Desk to our employees through emails and online ticketing system.
• Monitors and track incident, service request in IT ticketing system. Responsible for dispatching and escalating ticket to next support level. Continuous monitoring and forward movement of end user issues until they are resolved.
• Manage and operate the installation/delivery of all End User Device including Desktops, Laptops, Monitors, Phones, Printers and Mobile device.
• Responsible for all PC heath status; ensure all computers are properly patched and virus protected.
• Provide assistance to users regardless of their geographical location.
• Performing any other IT related duties including on-demand project.
• Manage telecommunication system and cabling system. Work with external vendor to ensure smooth operations and SLA are met.
• Prepare and participate in disaster recovery and unscheduled shutdown drills
• Prepare report as request by management.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% in Asia Pacific
• Any other ad-hoc tasks assigned

Preferred experiences and qualifications:

• Minimum Diploma level (preferred) in a Computer Science or equivalent
• ITIL foundation certification highly preferred
• Some working knowledge in an IT Support Organization
• Preferably 1-3 years of related working experience
• Experience in handling different level of end users
• Experience in handling user request and communicate expectation

• Day-to-day IT helpdesk support to end-users on all applications like ERP, POS, and website within the group
• Work with Marketing, Finance and Operations to perform updates to Point-of-Sales master data and configurations
• Assist in documenting process flows, test case scenarios and training guides
• Liaise with HQ IT for all group initiatives, protocols and systems implementation
• Support and manage store opening projects across multiple regions

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree/Diploma in Computer Science or related studies with 1 to 3 or more years of working experience
• Must have working experience in at least one POS and/or ERP systems
• Must have good Excel formula skills, basic SQL query skills
• Positive attitude with a team-player mindset with good communications and problem-solving skill
• Team player and be independent in executing work-related jobs.
• Experience working in Retail and/or F&B industry will be an added advantage
• Occasional travelling might be required

• Responsible for day‐to‐day IT operations and provide full technical support to ad‐hoc/maintenance customer for all set‐up, installation, configuration, upgrade, maintenance,troubleshooting, migration of desktops/notebooks PCs’ hardware/software, data and associated peripherals;

Requirements:

• Professional Certificate/NiTEC, Diploma/Degree;
• Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Information Technology or equivalent;
• Minimum 2 year of working experience in IT infrastructure and/or the related field;
• CCNA/CCNP certification is an added advantage;
• Familiar with Microsoft OS (XP, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10, 2003, 2008 and 2012), server support in end user environment, Active Directory, Backup Executive, Firewall and Switches, SQL database;
• Knowledge in network management and troubleshooting;
• Well‐organized, able to prioritize work tasks and executive with minimal supervision, responsible;
• Keen to learn, explore, disciplined, and responsible. Able to think ‘out‐of‐the‐box’ and have an aptitude for innovation and problem solving;

Job Requirements
