Job Description

You will be part of the team to design, develop, implement, and maintain job matching systems and processes including innovations for e2i’s events. As a Senior/Principal Specialist, you will develop strategic workstreams, identify new opportunities, manage and maintain close partnerships with internal stakeholders to understand e2i’s business goals across multiple divisions and teams to prepare advise, think-pieces, data analysis to synthesize concepts and information for decision making. You will also work closely with external partners and vendors to ensure a smooth execution of service contracts, IT systems including procurement of the upcoming systems and services for event operations and job matching needs for the organisation. Your key job responsibilities will include the following:

Vendor Management

• Execute procurement to select the vendor(s) that is best able to meet the business needs and deliver the solution on time and within budget.
• Liaise with the appointed vendor and internal corporate teams to ensure that:
• Vendor develops, deploys, and documents the solutions that meet business needs and are delivered on time and within budget.
• Vendor puts in place suitable measures to transit smoothly from development phase to support & maintenance phase.
• Contract Service Management are adhered by vendor to comply with all contractual obligations and performance standards specified in the service-level agreements, and
• Project risks are properly mitigated and managed to minimise system downtime including monitoring of regular system updates, risk and IT security testing, enhancements developments to meet business needs.

Project Management

• Drive end to end projects implementation and engage with team and internal stakeholders to design, develop and implement new systems or improve on existing systems’ features related to events management/ job search platforms
• Work with business users and management to develop and align frameworks, workflows, SOPs and guiding policies and to roll out an effective change management process

Events & Job Matching Systems Management / Application Support

• Set up and optimise structures and processes to provide end to end users support including but not limited to:
• Establish and maintain close partnerships with internal business users, understand their needs and work with the external vendor(s) to deploy appropriate solutions to meet business needs
• Create and maintain system user guides, briefing and perform L1 troubleshooting, escalating to vendor for technical support and follow up closely on status update

Jobseeker Group (JSG) Secretariat and Stakeholders Engagements

• Drive consultation with internal stakeholders across teams to understand users needs to improve systems processes/ functions to meet Group’s and organisation’s current and emerging business needs
• Manage and support development of Group’s work streams including identify resources, develop terms of reference and operating procedures, coordinating taskforces / project committees, track implementation progress and prepare reports and advise to the group and its work programmes.
• Provide meeting support to Group’s management meetings including organise meetings, keep records (i.e minutes, maintaining documents), prepare communications for stakeholders including coordinate cross Group workstreams when needs arises.

Job Requirements

• Well-versed in the employment and employability (E&E) landscape with experience in managing and running of E&E events.
• Candidates who have prior operational experience in events management, knowledge of recruitment processes, and savvy with IT systems will be preferred.
• Relevant experience in secretariat administration work and product management & development roles will be an advantage.

Main Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure Management: Administer servers, storage systems, hypervisors, and network equipment such as switches, firewalls and wireless access points.
• Network Administration: Manage network infrastructure, including routing protocols, DNS, Active Directory, and GPO. To also maintain current VPN connectivity.
• Technical Support: Provide Tier-2/Tier-3 in-person or remote support for escalated issues and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network incidents.
• Collaboration Tools & AV Support: Ensure smooth operation of Microsoft Teams, video conferencing, and meeting equipment.
• User Training: Conduct training and knowledge transfer for end-users on deployed systems, focusing on Microsoft 365 services.
• Peripheral Management: Oversee IP phones, printers, display TVs, CCTV systems, and door access, collaborating with vendors as needed.
• Cybersecurity: Support basic cybersecurity measures and compliance with IT policies.
• Project Support: Participate and/or take ownership in IT upgrades, deployments, and other technical initiatives.

Job requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in IT / Computer Science / relevant field or higher, certifications in CCNA, VMware VCP, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator is a plus.
• At least 5 years in IT infrastructure, with hands-on expertise in network protocols, virtualization practices, and Microsoft 365 administration and configuration.
• Proficiency in Active Directory, DNS, GPO, SQL Server, and backup solutions (e.g., Druva). Knowledgeable in networking topologies, protocols and methodologies and cybersecurity concepts will be an advantage.
• Excellent Problem-solving skills, good communication skills and fluent in common language, and teamwork ability.

• Technical working knowledge of flora and botany, vegetation and habitat classifications, and ecosystem dynamics within Singapore and/or SE Asia. Includes terrestrial biodiversity; knowledge of coastal or intertidal floral (e.g., mangroves/seagrass) communities is a plus.
• Contributing to environmental projects and business growth in Singapore, SE Asia, and Asia (depending project opportunities) on technical aspects of one or more of the following: Biodiversity Impact Assessment (BIA), Environmental Maintenance and Management Plans (EMMP), Environmental Baseline Studies (EBS) including biodiversity baselining or monitoring etc. Ability to work on a combination of these services will be highly regarded.
• Participate/experienced in biodiversity surveys with a key emphasis on flora, ID species on site, experienced biodiversity impact assessments, sustainability reporting TNFD etc.
• Have a keen interest and knowledge base in Nature Positive approaches, habitat restoration and habitat offsetting.
• Contributing to project presentations and client meetings with senior staff and Project Managers.

The IT Executive is responsible for providing applications consultancy, advice, and support for both purchased and developed systems, such as Infor LN and TimeWay. The role involves troubleshooting system and network problems, diagnosing and resolving hardware or software faults, and ensuring that system setups are appropriately configured for end users. Additionally, the IT Executive will be tasked with setting up and configuring workstations and notebooks, managing multiple incidents and tasks, selecting vendors for IT products and services, and safeguarding our infrastructure against malware.

Position Overview:

The ICP-MS (Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry) Analyst is responsible for operating and maintaining ICP-MS equipment to conduct analytical testing and ensure the accurate and precise analysis of samples for a variety of applications, including environmental, pharmaceutical, food safety, and industrial sectors. This role involves sample preparation, data analysis, calibration, troubleshooting, and reporting results. The ICP-MS Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring high-quality testing and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Method preparation for Semiconductor trace metal analysis to ppb level
• Operate and maintain the ICP-MS instrument, ensuring it is calibrated, cleaned, and functioning properly.
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs to ensure optimum equipment performance.
• Prepare and calibrate the ICP-MS system for different sample types and analyz results with high precision.
• Prepare a variety of sample matrices (water, soil, air, Chemicals, Metal & alloys etc.) for ICP-MS analysis by proper digestion, dilution, or other pre-treatment techniques.
• Perform multi-element analysis and determine concentrations of metals and other elements in complex samples.
• Analyze results using ICP-MS data analysis software, ensuring data quality and integrity.
• Interpret analytical data and prepare detailed reports, ensuring clear presentation of results, deviations, and conclusions.
• Ensure proper documentation of all analyses in compliance with quality assurance standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure the accuracy, precision, and reliability of analytical results.
• Implement and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for sample handling, analysis, and reporting.
• Identify and resolve any anomalies in data or equipment performance.
• Collaborate with colleagues, scientists, and other departments to discuss results and support research, product development, and quality assurance efforts.
• Suggest improvements to laboratory processes, equipment, and techniques to increase efficiency, productivity, and data quality.

Qualifications:

• Education: Master's degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in ICP-MS analysis or a related analytical laboratory setting.
  • Experience in sample preparation, method development, and calibration for ICP-MS is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with quality control procedures and data management systems.

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of ICP-MS theory, techniques, and applications.
• Proficiency in the use of laboratory software for data acquisition, analysis, and reporting.
• Familiarity with laboratory instruments, safety protocols, and analytical equipment.
• Knowledge of good laboratory practices (GLP) and regulatory guidelines (e.g., EPA, FDA, SEMI).
• Experience with troubleshooting and maintaining ICP-MS instrumentation.
