• Manage guest requests and enquiries professionally to ensure seamless staying experience.
• Handle guests' feedback in a professional manner and according to the Hotel's operational standards
• Take incoming calls quickly and efficiently to connect to the respective guest or department
• Log-in guests’ requests, channel them to the relevant department for action and follow-up on status of job completion
• Complete other duties assigned by the Front Office Manager

What is Expected

• A track record of at least 1 year of work experience in a similar capacity will be advantageous
• Education in Hospitality, Business Administration and/or related fields
• Pro-active, energetic, self-driven and highly motivated team player with an interest in the hospitality industry and/or front office operations
• Strong communication skills and good command of English
• Prior knowledge of Opera and/or HotSOS will be a plus

SUMMARY:

• Assists the Director of Human Resources in ensuring HR policies and practices are followed
• Responsible for administrative matters relating to recruitment, training, employee relations and compensation & benefits.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

General HR

• Assist in the updating of HR & Training policies as and when required.
• Assist in the updating of forms, reports and processes to meet local labour laws.
• Ensure compliance with all Corporate, owner and property policies and procedures; and current local and government regulations pertaining to employment practices.
• Maintains personnel files and HR systems including Associate database, time and attendance system and leave systems.
• Dealing with government bodies like CPF, MOM & IRAS etc.
• Assist in the preparation of weekly and monthly HR and Training reports.

Recruitment, Onboarding and Exit

• Responsible for the recruitment and election of rank & file associates. Posting of job advertisements, screening of candidates, conducting interviews in coordination with departmental heads, making offers, reference check, issuing appointment letters and other joining formalities.
• Liaise with employment agencies to source of local and foreign candidates.
• Conduct onboarding and orientation program in line with Dao By Dorsett guidelines.
• Conduct exit interviews and exit clearance formalities.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Knowledge of all aspects of HR, Statutory laws and IR.
• Highly articulate in English language, both written and spoken.
• Strong inter-personal skills, Positive Attitude, Willing to learn
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
• Eye for details, able to handle private and confidential information
