[Main duties and responsibilities]

• Handle full set of accounts and the preparation of annual reports according to FRS and statutory requirements.
• Manage physical stocktake, inventory and cost accounting.
• Responsible for monthly (quarterly) / yearly GST & tax computation and preparation.
• Assist with SAP software implementation related with accounting functions.
• Post journals and prepare monthly financial accounts in an accurate, timely and efficient manner.
• Manage and participate in daily accounting operations including AP/AR/GL and Inventory.
• Maintain up-to-date and correct balance sheet schedules.
• Complete monthly reconciliation of bank, debtors, creditors, and inter-company balances.
• Manage Fixed Assets Register and Assets under Construction.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, processes, and procedure.
• Recommend finance process optimisation and internal control improvements and assist with proper documentation.
• Assist with cashflow forecast and cash management.
• Assist with FP&A and management reporting as required.

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting or equivalent professional qualification
• Experience with handling full set of accounts
• Experience with cost accounting; and / or Experience with GST / Tax preparation and filing
• Experience / knowledge in SAP FI module is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Mature personality with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
• Possess a minimum of 3 years working experience in Financial Accounting
