Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, initiate, and manage IT projects (e.g., SharePoint, eGIRO) ensuring they meet timelines, budget constraints, and project specifications.
• Liaise with project vendors to coordinate and oversee project delivery.
• Lead the development of new software applications (e.g., Banking software) and systems, including requirement gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Ensure quality and functionality of the software and systems meet the organizational
• standards.
• Analyze the work plan for the department, identifying key areas for improvement and optimization.
• Write detailed reports on project progress, department performance, and other relevant metrics.
• Identify the types of reports to be submitted from the department and ensure timely and accurate submission.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to determine their technology needs and ensure IT
• projects align with the overall business strategy.
• Research and implement new technologies that can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of business operations.
• Proactively seek out opportunities for technological improvements and present recommendations to senior management.
• Ensure all IT practices comply with regulatory standards and company policies.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all projects and change management processes to ensure transparency and compliance.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Have some experience in IT project management and software development.(preferred)
• Proven track record of successfully managing IT projects from initiation to completion.
• Experience in developing and deploying software applications, particularly in the banking or financial services sector.
• Experience with database management systems.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Experience in writing detailed reports and performance metrics.
