Job Description – Service Technician

We are looking for a Service Technician in maintaining and managing system hardware and networks at customer site located over Singapore island to meet the contractual Service Level Agreement (SLA). The Service Technician shall report directly to the Service Engineer/Maintenance Lead (Reporting Officer (RO)) and Maintenance Manager (Approving Officer (AO)). Hiring shall be 1 year services contract via agent arrangement with option to extend or convert to direct outsource or permanent hiring.

Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance on a variety of marine equipment
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues
• Maintain detailed records and documentation
• Installs and repairs wiring, fixtures, and equipment for all electrical services aboard ship and in shipyard facilities

Requirements:

• Nitec in Electrical or similar
• At least 1- 2 years working experience in electrical repairs and maintenance
• Candidate possess LEW certificate with EMA or hold a valid Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) certification is an added advantage

Requirements:

• IT/Network/Server knowledge is a plus.

Primary Objective(s) of Position

• Design, implement, and maintain the company's software applications to ensure that code is properly built, tested, and deployed.
• Support backend users for internally developed and external application system/tools.
• Act as the liaison between the department and end users to deliver high quality solutions.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide software development and enhancement using C#, and Microsoft Visual Basic for Application (VBA) for internally developed systems.
• Provide and support the analysis and maintenance of the Company's SAP system's (S/4 HANA) functional areas such as Material Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD), Transportation Module (TM), Finance and Controlling (FI/CO) modules.
• Participate in other system development, implement and improvement initiatives when assigned

Skills & Experience

• A Degree in Information Technology or equivalent
• Experience in software development, Microsoft SQL Server
• Prior experience in S/4 HANA and SAP Fiori will be a plus
• Meticulous with an eye for details
• Team player with the ability to present, good interpersonal and communication skills
