Main Duties & Responsibilities :

Performing routine operations

• Attend toolbox meeting and ensure all the information regarding the status of each operations under his control are properly communicated and documented in patrol log and/or handover log sheets
• Supporting shift operation activities when in demand (such as shift manpower shortage or extra manning requirement during special operational period).
• Strictly follow documented procedures (e.g. Standard operating procedure- SOP, EHS regulations, Check sheet, risk assessment) to ensure safe and stable operation in the plant
• Record all the information in the documented records (eg: Log-sheet or checksheets) as required and be involved in the process trouble-shooting / investigations / abnormality reports
• Checksheets and workflow sheet must be completely filled up at each step and final completion confirmed by supervisor
• Provide input and/or prepare draft of revised manufacturing SOP or checksheets
• Promptly report any near miss / deviations / incidents to his Supervisor, directly or through Risk reporting & improvement proposal system.
• Keep good housekeeping conditions at all times, return all tools / items to designated place and enforce similar standards to contractors. Ensure tools / items fully accounted during handover / takeover according to quantity and condition specified.
• Assist his supervisor to collect data and samples to facilitate trouble shooting or improvement effort.
• Support implementation of new/revised procedure and check compliance to the procedures. Inform his direct supervisor if any abnormality is detected
• Monitor stores and tools managed by day team to ensure sufficient stores and tools, and in good working condition
• Provide administrative support to production department members, in purchasing consumable items. Assist operation team in sourcing new operational tools and maintain the inventory of item.
• Senior day technicians, are required to participate in ASDM activities, including procedure preparation, blind allocation, critical task coordination.
• Working team in managing Car seal program to ensure processes valves are locked at defined position for safety credit. In parallel, control and manage NO/NC program and reporting status to his superior.

Quality Control

• Has responsibility to ensure quality of products under his control, including prevention of foreign material contamination

Performing non-regular work

• When an abnormal condition is detected (outside of normal operating condition), stop operation and inform supervisor immediately
• Support actual NRW, in parallel to shift operation. Join toolbox meeting, understand and take effective measurement to mitigate and manage the risk during NRW execution. Conduct properly work closure including normalizing the process as per plan and carry out house keeping at workplace.

Emergency response

• Involve in CERT team/organization when appointed as part of CERT (Company Emergency response team)
• Participate in CERT training, drills and audits defined by EHS department
• When emergency situation occurs, follow the steps established in the emergency response plan, perform assigned role such as fire warden, first aider or rescuer

Committee and training

• Involve in Production department committee as shift representative, to provide feedback to committee and assist committee to implement action items
• Train and guide new day technicians during On-job-training

HR policy and Overtime participation

• Adhere to HR policies requirements and perform overtime duties pre-arranged with supervisor
• Where possible, participate in over-time work or emergency call-out due to urgent manpower needs in production department
• Join short term shift work or ad-hoc support to shift team as instructed by direct supervisor

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or Nitec in Chemical engineering or equivalent.

• Minimum 2 years work experience in a chemical processing environment. Experience in polymerization

and/or extrusion is advantageous.

• Possess basic Knowledge of chemical processing with working knowledge of ISO14001, ISO9001,

You will provide support direct to the Mechanical Supervisor (Maintenance) to perform the job task such as checking, repairing and servicing machinery, equipment, systems and infrastructures as part of the work force in an integrated Hazardous Chemical Waste Treatment Facility and related infrastructure.

Job Description:

• Responsible for the maintenance activities work task as direct instruction by the Mechanical
• Supervisor or Engineer (Maintenance) to maintain machines and equipment in the prescribed condition.
• Hands on experience in servicing of rotating equipment like various type of Pumps, chain and belt conveyors, mixers, blowers,agitators, fans and rotary valves.
• Good knowledge in Laser alignment and independently able to do.
• Perform daily preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of pump failures.
• Hands on experience in mechanical seal assembly.
• Able to read and understand the P&ID.
• Timely close all work orders assigned by supervisor in CMMS.
• Ensures quality of work within the set time frame.
• Ensure to maintain adequate use of tools, supplies and parts to accurately repair all equipment.
• Follow job method of statement and risk assessment to perform the job task.
• Attend daily tools box meeting
• Always follow and make sure plant safety rules and regulations.
• Participate in monthly safety committee meetings.
• Conduct routine 5S at maintenance workshop, store, substations and work area at site.
• Reporting to the mechanical supervisor on daily work activity.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Minimally an ITE certification or Diploma in Mechanical Engg or equivalent is an advantage.
• At least 5 years of previous experience of working in static and rotating equipment in Chemical Process or Treatment Plant Industry.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good working knowledge in Microsoft applications (such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
• Experience in using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is an advantage.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays and respond to callouts on a non-routine basis.

Incumbents must be willing to work in Tuas South vicinity and transport will be provided at Boon Lay MRT & Chua Chu Kang MRT (To & Fro)

Responsibilities

· Perform overhead cranes, gantry cranes, monorail cranes electrical installation and troubleshooting task, repairs and parts replacement to resolve related site issues

· Recommendation of part replacement to ensure continuous operation of the equipment

· Coordinate and liaise with Project Engineer/Manager and respective supervisor on tasks and works relating to the project

· Responsible for doing control panel and any other works related to Electrical duties

· Ensure compliance with relevant standard

· Ensure compliance with company’s Quality Management Systems

· Working closely with Supervisor and Mechanical team to get the job done

· Ensure service and work readiness during office works hours and after hours

· Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirement

Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Electronic

Minimum 2 to 3 years in the Crane industry

Knowledge of crane troubleshooting, various brands of inverters, PLC system.

Ability to generate Electrical drawings in accordance to Singapore standards a plus

Holders of Driving Licence Class 3

• ·Performs maintenance, repair, alignment and testing of rotating equipment and components such as compressors, chillers, centrifuges, pumps and gear boxes, mechanical seal, couplings etc
• Performs maintenance servicing for pressure relief devices such as Pressure Safety Valve, Breather valves, Emergency hatches etc.

• Liaise with operations for system handover; liaise with other functions such as warehouse and equipment vendors for completion of urgent break-in work
• Writes post maintenance reports, communicates findings to relevant work groups; follows and completes maintenance quality assurance checklist
• Assists in troubleshooting equipment with operations and equipment vendors; able to utilize and interpret manufacturer’s operation and repair manuals

Required Qualifications:

• NITEC/Higher NITEC/Diploma in mechanical engineering or related engineering discipline
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience
• Possess a high level of safety awareness and chemical plant safety experience.
• Good knowledge with Permit to work system, preparing quality JSRA(Risk Assessment).
• Comply with SWP (Safe Work Practices), Procedures and Job Aids.
• Good experience in inspection, repair, installation, and alignment of rotating and stationary equipment such as pumps, compressor, blowers, agitators, various type of manual valves, vessels and heat exchangers.
• Preferably with background in oil & gas, petrochemical, and pharmaceutical industries
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to plan and schedule work efficiently. Ability to work effectively in a scheduled and customer driven environment.
• Ability to use and update simple work status and history data into SAP system

Preferred Qualifications:

• Able to operate drilling and fixed hoist
• Able to thread piping and fittings for assembly, join PVC piping and tubing
• Able to perform hydro-test of fixed equipment or rotating equipment during integrity/leak test
• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Input into CMMS details such as equipment history, time confirmation, work notification history. Provide feedback post maintenance for continuous improvement'
