Do you have:
- Graduate(d) with Diploma in Veterinary Technology or relevant education.
- Minimally 2 years work experience in veterinary clinic or hospital preferred.
- Could commit to 44 hours work week based on rotation inclusive of weekends.
- Want to grow a career in veterinary industry.
Responsibilities for this role (not exhaustive):
- Act as the extra eyes, ears and hands for the veterinarian to ensure the best quality pet care and to maximize the veterinarian’s productivity.
- Lead communications with veterinarians and veterinary medical team to maintain the flow of pets.
- Provide professional, efficient and exceptional service at all times.
- Obtain relevant information and history from clients to maintain proper and complete medical charts.
- Ensure the safety of pets, clients and associates by utilizing safe restraining techniques, following standard protocols while maintaining clean, sterile and organized treatment areas, exams rooms and labs.
- Educate clients about preventive care, pet health needs, any diagnosis or treatment, hospital services and other related matters.
- Assist with surgery as applicable.
