The person will play a supporting role in providing chemistry and chemical engineering capabilities to the laboratory and pilot plant in a start-up environment. The initial period of employment is for 2 years and there is possibility for renewal. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on person who has no qualms about getting their hands dirty. There is ample opportunity for growth that is pegged to the success of the project.

Job Description/Key Responsibilities

Work under guidance of the reporting officer in the following activities.

1. Provide support in design, building and commissioning of laboratory space and the chemical processing systems, associated equipment, and components where applicable.

2. Provide support in developing procedures for testing, including validation protocols for the same.

3. Work with vendors/regulatory bodies/partners where applicable.

1. Operation of the system in Batch, Feb-Batch and Continuous mode for producing the products.
2. Ensure compliance to OHSMS/relevant regulations and follow industrial best practices.
3. Collect and summarise experimental data.
4. Be able to lift weights of up to 25kg as fixing and dismantling laboratory scale reactors is required.
5. Any other work as assigned by the line manager.

Job Requirements

NITEC or higher educational qualification with relevant process and safety knowledge. 2+ years of experience.

• Should have work experience in chemistry lab environment.
• Good communication skills and able to work in a multi-disciplinary team.
• Able to follow instructions and be safety conscious.
• Willing to work in Tuas South.

Job Description:

• Assist in the building & Testing of machine
• Assist in the troubleshooting, repairing & maintenance of electro-hydraulic machines
• Assist in the operation of machines durinf hire period

Job Requirements:

• Min NITEC in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
• At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred
• Preferably with knowledge of hydraulics controls system
• Good interpersonal & effective communication skills
• Willing to travel overseas frequently
• Independant & responsible
