Requirements:

• Excellent knowledge of customer service best practice with previous experience;

· Repair and maintain all aircon system, refrigeration, mechanical ventilation, boiler, plumbing and all other equipment and system.

· Attend to guest room maintenance as reported by the Housekeeping department or Front Office.

· Check equipment and system for faults and carry out the necessary repair works.

· Participate in all preventive maintenance and energy conservation programme.

· Upkeep the interior furnishing of the hotel including all repair works and repainting as required.

Mission/purpose of the Job:

• Responsible for vehicle repair, diagnostic, service maintenance.

Key responsibilities/Accountabilities:

• To perform all basic troubleshooting and basic diagnostics with appropriate recommendations (With guidance from Team Leaders where appropriate)
• To check and provide correct recommended Parts details in the Work Order as and when required.

• To record repair time and detail of repair in the Work Order.
• To keep Team Leader updated on the repair details and repair requirements.
• Adhere to Warranty Process and Procedures (Warranty tagging of parts, return and storage of warranty parts etc).
• Ensure good housekeeping of work bay.
• Accountable for all tools and equipment handling and usage.

• Attend upgrading courses as and when available.
• To attend to breakdown where necessary and to be equipped with a valid Class 3/4 driving license.

Essential educational and/or training qualifications and certificates

• NITEC in Automotive Technology or former NTC 3/2 in Motor Vehicle Mechanics or NTC 3/2 Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanics or Diploma in Automotive Engineering or related field.
• Preferred with valid Class 3 / 4 / 5 driving license (Singapore).

• Minimum of 4 – 6 years working experience in servicing and repairing heavy trucks (Japanese and Continental brands).

Responsibilities:

• Perform installation and commissioning works at sites.

• Able to troubleshoot, investigate and provide service and evaluation on technical issues that arise.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conducting replacement of plug and play electronic parts of a ceiling fan assembly at height below 3.3m

• Basic electric connection of live, neutral, earth wires, to mains supply on ground level or at height <3.3m

• Install, replace a ceiling fan assembly with a gross weight not exceeding 6.5kg, at height below 3.3m.

• Basic drilling of M1 expansion screw bolts onto concrete to secure fan mounting bracket at height <3.3m

• Able bodied, able to climb ladder at height below 3.3m, basic electric knowledge, able to use power drill.

• Other duties as assigned by supervisor from time to time.
