We are seeking an experienced Aircon Technician (ACMV, VRV) to join our team at SINHI ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning and mechanical ventilation (ACMV) and variable refrigerant volume (VRV) systems.

Job description

• Carry out installation, servicing, and repair of ACMV and VRV systems

• Troubleshoot and diagnose faults in ACMV and VRV systems

• Perform regular preventive maintenance for air conditioning systems, including replacing faulty components.

• Conduct routine inspections of the building to identify and address maintenance needs.

• Ensure all work complies with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• Perform troubleshooting and recommend effective corrective solutions.

• Continuously improve work processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

• Undertake any ad-hoc duties or responsibilities as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years' experience as an Aircon Technician, specialising in ACMV and VRV systems

• Strong knowledge of ACMV systems, VRV systems, and cooling tower systems.

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects within the defined scope of work and maintain focus.

• Capable of working well under pressure with minimal supervision.

• A proactive team player with a positive attitude toward learning.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and a pleasant disposition.

• Relevant certifications or qualifications in air conditioning and refrigeration

Job Description

To perform inspection by using CMM & other measuring equipments

To ensure parts are according to customer's requirements

Job Requirements

Higher NITEC level in technical engineering or GCE 'O' level

Minimum 1 year related working experiences

Able to operate CMM machine independently is an advantage

Able to commit overtime

Independent

• Assisting in setting up the test equipment for production and engineering team.
• Handle all Test & Backend Equipment sustaining i.e. Bench, ATE, Handlers, Thermostream, ICOS, Laser Mark, etc.

Requirements:

• Nitec in Electronics / Electrical Engineering, Mechanical, Biomedical, Mechatronics
• At least 2 years of experience with Advantest 93000/Teradyne J750.
• Able to work rotating 12-hr shift

Job Summary

The main function of this job is to generate maximum output of quality products through effective use of assigned resources and assets. To achieve this goal, this position has:

• technical skills in optimizing / maximizing production, yield and product quality
• implement and maintain quality systems, improvement projects and other initiatives.
• tasks in line operation (at least 3 different work stations)

Operation and performance

• Achieve line and batch efficiency and output requirements as targeted by superior / management.
• Maximize output by reducing downtime through monitoring and controlling changeover / maintenance / breakdown time.
• Produce the right quality by managing all CCPs and quantity according to the process order.
• Ensure proper product labelling, coding and other information accurately.
• Carry out the right cleaning, sanitation and GMP according to Quality System requirements.
• Proper handover before going on leave / changeover shift.
• Follow strictly safety and environment requirements at the workplace.

Improvement projects

• Support various initiatives by contributing idea, hands on experience, solutions and others.
• Assist to conduct trials, collect data and trouble shoot machines as and when it is necessary.
• Participate in root-cause analysis and corrective action development sessions as required.

Job Requirements:

• Preferable 1 - 2 years experience in food manufacturing company in similar position. Other manufacturing and electronics industries are welcome too.
• Good technical knowledge and skills in line operation and machine maintenance/repair.
• Nitec / Diploma in Engineering or related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Able to conduct testing of low-voltage switchboards and power distribution boards.
• Able to complete test reports while testing the low-voltage switchboards and power distribution boards.
• To participates and conducts factory acceptance tests / factory witness tests with the presence of clients in accordance to the method of statement.
• To perform in-house test procedures in accordance with the method of statement.
• To perform in-house quality control procedures and checklists e.g., visual inspection, torque tests, etc.
• To report the status of calibration, defect reports, replacement procedures, all relevant tools and equipment used by the Testing Department to the Electrical Test Engineer / Quality Engineer.

Requirements

• NITEC and above in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering or Mechatronic Engineering.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools e.g., Outlook, Teams, Word, Exc
• Able to interpret electrical schematic, single line diagram.
• Experienced in handling tools and equipment used in electrical testing E.g., Primary Current Injection Test Set, Secondary Current Injection Test Set, Digital Micro-Ohm Meter, Insulation Resistance Test Set, Dielectric Withstand Test Set.
• Reports to the Electrical Test Engineer and/or Quality Manager.
