Job Description:

• Develop and maintain a highly scalable and distributed IT system.
• Write clear system documentation.
• Maintain a close communication with experts and teams from around the world to discuss the - project feasibility, assist in product testing and to provide updates on project progress.

Requirement:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• Experienced in .NET Core framework preferably C# & web application technologies such as web api, HTML, CSS and etc & relational database and NOSQL database.
• Able to write high performance code to handle very high concurrent requests & highly optimized SQL queries to handle very high database requests.
• Knowledge in Kubernetes, Docker and microservices are an added advantage.
• Eager to research new methodologies and technologies.

Senior Java Developer - Commodities Trading Company

Our client, a European Commodities, Energy and Utilities trading company, is looking to expand their APAC Development team, with a Senior Java Developer.

This role will take the lead of the APAC-wide enhancements and development of new features for a critical invoicing application, giving you the chance to collaborate with local, regional and European developers, BAs and deployment teams to deliver excellent software solutions with global impact.

Your responsibilities:

• Developing new features & enhancing the tools (understanding client requirements, how they translate to app features, writing quality source code to program enhacements, perform unit and integration testing, functional and non-functional testing, etc)
• Supporting the tools (processing support requests from users and app clients - configuration, assistance, etc)

Your background and skills (required):

• Solid experience in Java programming (5+ years)
• Solid expereince of the Spring framework
• Solid knowledge of SQL
• Rest API design and development
