Key responsibilities:
· Analyse, develop, enhance, debug, support, maintain, test applications.
· The primary work comprises of requirement analysis, mapping design, technical specification, programming, code review, job scheduling, perform unit test and SIT, support UAT, deploy to production, post implementation support, and technical documentation.
· Collaborating with management, departments and customers to identify end-user requirements and specifications
· Designing algorithms and flowcharts to create new software programs and systems
· Producing efficient and elegant code based on requirements
· Testing and deploying programs and applications
· Troubleshooting, debugging, maintaining and improving existing software
· Compiling and assessing user feedback to improve software performance
· Observing user feedback to recommend improvements to existing software products
· Developing technical documentation to guide future software development projects
· Modifying software to fix errors, adapt it to new hardware, improve its performance, or upgrade interfaces.
· Directing system testing and validation procedures.
· Directing software programming and documentation development.
· Consulting with departments or customers on project status and proposals.
· Working with customers or departments on technical issues including software system design and maintenance.
· Analyzing information to recommend and plan the installation of new systems or modifications of an existing system.
· Consulting with engineering staff to evaluate software-hardware interfaces and develop specifications and performance requirements.
· Designing and developing software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes and design consequences.
· Preparing reports on programming project specifications, activities, or status.
· Conferring with project managers to obtain information on limitations or capabilities.
Key requirements:
4+ years’ experience in Murex MxML and Managed Interfaces like TOF, MarkitWire, RTBS, BBG, BSMT.
• Experience in developing interfaces with external system inbound/outbound Murex
• Hands-on Experience in developing paper confirmations and swift templates.
• Hands-on business understanding, provide technical analysis and propose solutions for business issues, process changes and technical requirements.
• Work with different technology teams across infrastructure, and other divisions to deliver system solutions for the business
• Strong knowledge of MxML and interfaces
• Good knowledge of Murex architecture, Environments and functional modules
• Knowledge of Murex MLC, Datamart or VaR modules is good to have.
