· Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.

· At least 6 years’ relevant experience preferably in a Finance Institution.

Essential:

· You must be the experienced developer, with good experience in system integration/interfacing.

· You will typically be assigned to work on specific projects and is expected to support the Application Delivery.

· Manager (ADM) in all relevant technical matters, end-to-end, within the project.

· Depending on the project, your duties may include coding, scripting, building new systems (where necessary) and interfaces. For new system build-up, you may need to environment support during SIT/UAT.

· You are expected to ensure your work are adequately documented and transferred to the production team post-cutover.

· You will be expected to work with the senior developers and system architect in formulating technical solutions that is fit for purpose for your assigned projects. The solution will need to satisfy all security, regulatory and architectural standards.

· Working experience in MS SQL server & Business Intelligence development (and experience with WKFS RiskPro product is a plus).

· Working with RDBMS (Oracle, PL/SQL), WebSphere Application Server (WebSphere, Tomcat) and Jenkins/Sonar, Control-M, UNIX/Linux Commands.

· Proficient with Batch & Power Shell scripting

· Good understanding in Data Warehouse and Data Mart concept

· Experience in Performance tuning of queries

Technical Skills:

· SQL, PL/SQL, MS SQL server & Business Intelligence

Job Responsibilities

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology with min. 5 years' experience in software development using Java technologies (J2EE, Spring Framework) and front-end technologies (JavaScript/Angular/AngularJS), preferably in a bank or financial institution.
• Experience in working with offshore team is an added advantage.
• Hands-on experience in deploying, and maintaining, cloud-native Java applications on Microsoft Azure is an added advantage.
• Hands-on experience in Newgen BPM system preferred.
• Good knowledge in SDLC methodologies (Waterfall and/or Agile).
• Good presentation, communication, and coordination skills.

Create functional design specifications, Azure reference architectures, and assist with other project deliverables as needed

• Assess and develop application modernization architecture towards re-platforming towards Azure PaaS services including

• Supporting the Pre-Sales process, scoping out technical requirements and solutions to meet the strict security and performance requirements of prospective clients

• Provide recommendations to clients with respect to cloud migrations and prepare technical implementation roadmaps for Azure adoption

• Learn, learn, and learn by staying up-to-date on all technical developments related to Azure and other public cloud platforms

• Proficient with data migrations utilizing Python, Powershell & Microsoft Solutions
