- Add value by providing advice on optimal deal structuring, by combining a knowledge of assets, financial metrics, and deal economics;

- Ensure familiarity with the corporate business plan and structure deals to meet business plan hurdles;

- Understand all aircraft maintenance and technical aspects of a deal which have an economic impact;

- Evaluate the accounting and profit/loss impact of proposed deals and provide insightful guidance on same;

- Input into Approval Committee papers for deal approval.

· Modelling:

- Transaction Modelling and Analysis - calculate transaction yield returns, present value of cashflows (including maintenance forecasting), accounting profit & loss impacts, and aircraft asset valuations;

- Model Development – Build/maintain long term financial models/tools that will increase efficiency and contribute to the success of the organisation.

Skills & Experience:

· Quantitative honours degree e.g. finance, mathematics, actuarial, engineering, science etc.

· Previous experience within aircraft leasing, aviation lending, structured finance, banking, or financial services is required.

· Financial modelling experience is essential, together with strong numerical, analytical and critical analysis skills.

· Proven ability to find creative solutions to extract value.

· Highly commercial, thorough, with keen attention to detail and an ability to identify critical issues and effectively communicate to stakeholders.

· Ability to review the ‘big picture’ from a commercial perspective.

· Strong and independent minded with the ability to express your views with conviction, showing bravery in confronting established thought while recognising alternative perspectives.

· Professional and personable with the ability to develop diverse stakeholder relationships, skillfully navigating challenging situations to drive optimal business outcomes.
