The Db2 Database Engineering Administration team is part of Operations & Infrastructure (O&I) Technology Platform and is responsible for common integration infrastructure that supports communication between multiple enterprise applications and multiple business lines

Should you join our team, you will be responsible for managing the team that provides design, integration, advanced problem analysis, successful deployment, and continuous operational improvement of Db2 z OS database technology used at Visa. You should be well versed in database administration practices and principles as you will share the responsibility of managing overall database build, deployment and support. Job Scope

This Director role is responsible for the team that delivers database administration solutions which involves complex problem solving and taking a broad perspective to identify creative solutions. This management role also serves as a technical functional specialist that guides the team to provide Db2 z OS database administration and solution on development and production systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage the team that supports Db2 database and database availability, database security patching, implementation of database maintenance and support the availability of development, QA, pre-production and production environments.
