Job Purpose
SJ’s Singapore-based Global Marketing & Communications (GMC) team is looking for a Content Producer to support group-level operations in building and advancing the SJ brand on the global stage.
A member of GMC’s in-house production team, the Content Producer is responsible for conceptualising, designing and executing content marketing experiences across social media, websites and internal communications channels that shape the brand’s culture, perception and reputation.
Well-versed in digital media production, with an intimate understanding of how marketing campaigns are brought to life through storytelling from ideation, to publishing, to amplification, the Content Producer will work closely with internal stakeholders, senior leaders and other regional marketing & communications teams.
Key Accountabilities
- Produce engaging video content that captures the impact SJ’s projects create, end-to-end from script to publishing.
- Design and conceptualise complex content marketing campaigns in partnership with multiple internal and external stakeholders. Ensure integration of brand messaging with a wide range of transmedia content components that are distributed across multiple communication channels.
- Tell engaging stories and be responsible for ongoing content series that run on a weekly publishing calendar.
Job Duties & responsibilities
- Storyboard, self-shoot and edit video content to support day-to-day activity and campaigns
- Develop serial video content formats that are sticky, with compelling messages that strengthen SJ’s global positioning and brand persona
- Deliver content with the right composition of editorial and creative elements to tell stories about the positive real world impact SJ employees and their projects create for communities, environment and society.
- Drive content marketing campaign execution and creative project management, coordinating assets and timelines between multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Optimise, maintain, and publish content assets across websites and social media to ensure annual performance KPIs are met
- Assist in creating performance and social listening reports
- Ensure quality and consistency in all brand materials produced and published
Experience
4-6 years of experience in a news, broadcasting, publishing or other digital media/ marketing agency environment. Newsroom experience or previous in-house content production role a plus.
Education / Preferred Qualifications
Diploma qualifications from polytechnics/ film & media/ advertising/marketing institutes, or higher. Candidates with degree in journalism or digital broadcast media a plus.

- Proven work experience in end-to-end creative content production and online publishing - from ideation to amplification
- Content and/or project portfolio that showcases your creative style and ability to craft transmedia stories
- Highly developed communication, interpersonal and influencing skills to motivate and work cooperatively with others, at all levels
- Creative and innovative, with a focus on continuous improvement
- Proven ability of being an exceptional team player, collaborating with multiple content owners and subject matter experts
- Strong sense of ownership of results
Technical Competencies
- Excellent track record in managing complex content production environments with multiple stakeholders and short timelines.
- Ability to conduct interviews, video scriptwriting and social media copywriting.
- Social media native with understanding in audience and content consumption data to support the creative decision-making process.
- Well-versed in spoken and written English
- Operational knowledge in all commonly used digital media formats
- Proficiency in digital video/photo post-production using Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop or other software from the Adobe CC suite.
