Responsibilities
· Treat safety and environmental compliance as a top priority.
· Manage and implement the Company’s QHSSE policies to identify, assess and control occupational safety, process safety, site security and quality control.
· Implement risk management, conduct risk assessment to identify and communicate hazards in security, quality and safety behaviour
· Manage all third-party certifications (ISO & bizSAFE), audits, management systems including Standards Operating Procedures and Work Instructions implementation on policies and procedures
· Lead and guide Integrated Management System (IMS) and ensure change management is in compliance with regards to overall IMS.
· Identify and conduct training for staff on QHSSE matters to increase awareness and improve the safety & health culture through promotion of such programs.
· Direct and participate actively in all near misses / incidents / accident / customer complaints investigations with root cause analysis and recommended preventive / corrective measures.
· Help develop an ecosystem that identifies and evaluates hazards and eliminates them before accidents occur.
· Audit, track, record and report compliance with the Integrated Management System, and by doing so, ensure all employees comply with all safety & health, security and environment practices established within the Group and those prescribed by National certification and legislation bodies.
· Lead monthly QHSSE meetings with management to discuss customer complaints, occupational incidents, near misses, regulatory changes, training needs, and action plans.
· Act as the primary contact for regulatory agencies and industry associations regarding HSE matters.
· Daily management, supervision and management reporting of all outsourced third-party contractors deployed to site including but not limited to general renovation, pest control, landscaping, and other assets.
· Inventory, procurement, budget management and reporting for all supplies necessary to support the efficient functioning of the services within the facility.
Requirements
· Minimum 5 years of experience in similar role.
· WSH Level C or equivalent
· Preferably a certified ISO lead auditor.
· Good working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001,
· Well versed in Workplace Safety & Health Act & regulations, Environmental applicable Acts & Regulations
· Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
· Able to train, lead and motivate team & colleagues.
