Job Responsibilities:
• Liaise with construction team to prepare document for Request for Quotation (RFQ) or Open Tender
• Source potential tenderers/subcontractors and send out invitation for RFQs
• Coordinate queries and clarifications between tenderers and construction team during RFQ stage
• Coordinate post-tender interviews between tenderers, construction team, QS team and contracts team
• Assist Contracts Manager with quantity surveying matters relevant to Sub-Contract, Works Order and Purchase Order.
• Assist contracts team in administration of subcontracts
• Handle payment request received from subcontractors and suppliers
• Preparation and submission of Variation Order & Progress Claim to Client (LTA)
• Ensure all contractual obligations are met and manage any dispute or variation
• Any other adhoc tasks assigned by Contracts Manager
Job Requirements:
• Degree in Quantity Survey, Purchasing/Procurement, Business, Engineering.
• 5- 8 years’ experience in quantity surveying and sub-contract administration of Construction Project.
• Possess the relevant tertiary qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or Contract/Construction Law.
• Experience with LTA project is preferable.
