Job Purpose:
The Workshop Service Coordinator will oversee workshop operations and coordinate mobile service engineers to ensure seamless maintenance and repair services for refuse trucks. This role includes managing team overtime, planning on-the-go assignments outside office hours, and maintaining high customer satisfaction.
Main duties include to manage the team to carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of machinery, industrial vehicles, heavy machinery and waste collection equipment.
Opportunity to develop as a professional within heavy duty machinery sector through continuous training programmes to ensure the necessary technical and organizational skills.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Schedule and manage workshop maintenance and repair tasks for refuse trucks.
Coordinate with customers, technicians, to ensure timely job completion.
Plan mobile service engineers for emergency repairs or after-hours service needs.
Track and manage team overtime, ensuring compliance with company policies.
Monitor workshop and mobile service performance, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
Maintain accurate records of service activities, parts inventory, and customer interactions.
Support the Aftersales Manager in addressing customer concerns Assist in diagnosing technical issues and ensuring technicians are equipped with the necessary tools and resources.
Accountabilities & Commitments Required
- Able to plan breakdowns after office hours and weekends, mostly on Whatsapp
- Commitment to join a growing company and take full responsibility to be part of a team
Knowledge required
- Technical background in vehicle maintenance, with experience in waste management equipment or heavy vehicles preferred
- Strong organizational and coordination skills, including scheduling and resource allocation
- Ability to effectively manage and track team overtime and work schedules
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with customers, technicians, and management.
Experiences required
- Minimum experience of 2 years in a similar job
- Experience with workshop management systems and mobile service coordination

- Technical education
