The Centre Management System Support, Executive/Senior Executive is responsible for overseeing the upkeep, procurement & maintenance of all exhibits, audio-visual equipment, facilities and essential services for daily operations for centres/museums under Defence Collective Singapore (DCS).

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintenance Planning: Planning and implementation of building maintenance programs for architectural, electrical, and mechanical, exhibits and attractions AV lighting systems. Co-ordinate and liaise with internal and external vendors for the execution of maintenance services. Conduct joint inspection rounds with Specialists/Technical Officers on building/Exhibit/AV & lighting defects.

You will assist in the collection, processing and publication of data on the industrial property market.

You will be required to:

• process and transcribe data from emails and other formats
• correspond with external parties such as survey respondents via email or phone calls to conduct interviews or clarifications
• attend to respondents' queries relating to surveys and data collection activities
• read and extract information from architectural plans
• provide general administrative support

Candidates with background in Business, Market Research, Statistics and/or Architectural-related fields are welcome. A quantity surveyor may work for either the client, the contractor or sub-con, working in an office or on site. They are involved in a project from the start, preparing estimates and costs of the work.

When the project is in progress, quantity surveyors keep track of any variations to the contract that may affect costs and create reports to show profitability.

Aside from Quantity Surveyor, he or she will also act as project engineer wherein will take charge of the suprvising the project, adhere to construction procedures, coordinate all work schedule with the main con and liase with project manager and archi coordinator.

He or She should monitor and ensure that the work progress is within project schedules and manage the project independently as well as lead and motivate team.
