Job Summary:
The Commercial Center Tender Manager is accountable for managing the overall tendering process, providing oversight on resource competency/capabilities to ensure high-quality proposals and on-time delivery.
One of the responsibilities is to ensure the tender team workload is balanced, matching resources with predicted activity. This person is accountable for the overall quality of tender submissions, the development, integrity and adherence to Tender Management processes/systems.
Job Descriptions:
• Assign resources to support each tender and quotation request.
• Provide support and guidance through the tender cycle as necessary.
• Monitor progress of all tenders and provide supportive intervention when required.
• Review content of tender deliverables and gate approval presentations to ensure a high level of quality is maintained.
• Monitor performance in line with agreed KPI’s.
Requirements:
• Degree qualified in Engineering, Business, Finance or related field is preferred.
• At least 15 years’ experience in Oil & Gas Industry.
• Strong knowledge of Wellheads, Fracturing Trees and other wellhead products for onshore and offshore oil productions.
• Strong knowledge of SAP.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Strong understanding and appreciation of commercial terms and mechanisms.
• Strong understanding and appreciation of project and product cost structure.
• Understanding and appreciation of tax and finance mechanisms.
• Understanding of typical engineering bill of materials.
• Understanding and appreciation of contract law.
• Proven ability of working in a high-pressure environment with the minimal of support.
• Keen commercial acumen in complex and high value opportunities.
