Job Description:

This is a full time role for a Class 4 Delivery Driver located in Tuas Ave. Our clients specialise in supplying various types of Valves, Plates, Pipes, Elbows, Expansion Joints, High Pressure Fittings to the Marine, Offshore & Construction industries. You will be responsible for collaborating with the moving team to pack, load, and unload items safely, ensuring proper transportation of goods. The candidate will also be responsible for returning the vehicle to the warehouse, maintaining it regularly, and prioritizing safety during all moving and transportation activities.

Qualifications:

• Must possess class 4 driving license.

Job Responsibilities:

• To carry out and execute all daily jobs received from customers and ensure that all information is relayed down to the respective Operations Teams at the end of the day
• To perform billing and ensure the accuracy of the invoices raised

Job Summary:

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Picking and packing of products.
• Receive incoming goods (local supply/FCL/LCL). Inspect, verify, count, tally with shipping document before storing at allocated location.
• Loading and unloading from truck and container(import/export).
• Prepare cargo for export shipment (courier service/FCL/LCL/local warehouse delivery.
• Taking weight and dimension of cargo prepared.
• Ensure work done is compliance with warehouse Standard operating procedure.
• Take part in Biannual cycle count and perform cycle count on random product as needed.
• To operate forklift and other warehouse equipment while adhering to all safety protocols and guideline in warehouse and storage area.
• To carry out other ad-hoc tasks.
• Report any inconsistency found from incoming shipments and no stock item upon picking for order.
• Maintain cleanliness of storage area and ensure storage areas are secured.
• Perform other related material handling functions.

Required / Desired Knowledge, Experiences and Skills:

• Forklift license.
• Basic computer skills.
• Capacity to pick and pack orders and be in good physical shape.
• Proficiency in reading and writing English.

Education/Certifications:

• Secondary education.

Physical Working Environment:

• The position requires exposure to the elements, need to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• The position requires the ability to manually lift and/or move boxes, jerry cans and drums, & cylinders weighing up to 100lbs.
