The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of accounting experience and be highly proficient in closing accounts, financial reporting, and managing fixed assets. Familiarity with MYOB software is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including the closing of monthly, quarterly, and yearly accounts.
• Prepare and present accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and other reports.
• Maintain and manage fixed assets register, ensuring proper capitalization, depreciation, and disposals.
• Ensure timely submission of financial reports to management and relevant authorities.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and bank statements.
• Review and ensure the accuracy of journal entries and other accounting documents.
• Assist in audits by preparing required documentation and liaising with auditors.
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies.
• Provide support in budgeting and forecasting activities.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
• Strong knowledge and experience in MYOB accounting software.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in handling audits and compliance matters.
• Knowledge of tax regulations and processes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Support onboarding activities including operator orientation and offboarding activities
• Managing of foreign employee work pass related matters
• Support and maintain training administration and certification for operators
• Support and coordinate HR welfare activities and employee engagement
• Managing eLeave in Workday and reporting
• HR administrative such as maintaining for Pfiles, employee information in Workday system
• Manages day - day operations issues I.e. Blue Collars Workers (Operators)
• Managing and ensuring confirmation for new employees is on time
