Job Description & Requirements

• Tabulate & analyses data on Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) performance etc
• Conduct WSH incident and accident investigations
• Perform daily workplace inspection and rectify any unsafe practice and condition
• Implement & review Workplace and Health Management System (WSHMS)

• Assist and coordinate in all risks assessments work activities

Our client is one of Singapore's Leading Specialists for Buddhist funeral services and you will be responsible for conducting morning briefings, delegates duties to Team Leaders, and provides budget updates to the Finance Department. They oversee the preparation of monthly schedules, consolidate feedback from teams, families, and clients, and ensure quality control of standards, rituals, and customs. They improve operational systems and processes, review SOPs for efficiency, plan and review compensation actions, and enforce policies. They manage the welfare and health of operations staff, handle HR matters such as leave approval and overtime, oversee recruitment and interviews, and perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Managing Director.

Job Description

You will be situated at Year 5-6 staffroom to:

1. Prepare the Y56 testimonial template
2. Submit and edit the Y56 SGC write-up into the School Cockpit
3. Edit, format and print Y56 testimonials
4. Prepare Y6 transcripts for the Higher Education Office – for UK/US University Applications
5. Provide administrative support to the teachers in the Y56 staffroom
6. Ensure that there are sufficient stationeries in stock
7. Assist in ordering school flags etc. for Y56
8. Print and supervise Y56 examination printing
9. Support Student Affairs Centre (SAC) when required
10. Be the contact person for student accident insurance
11. Update and handle the catering list
12. Perform any other duties as assigned by the School

Job Requirements

• Minimum GCE ‘A’ levels or equivalent
• Excellent IT skills (Words and Excel) and able to present information for management reporting
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• High level of accuracy and good eye for details
• Clear and logical thinking
• Good organisation and planning skills to organise and present quotations received
• Excellent time management skills with ability to work independently on tight deadlines and under pressure

WSH Coordinator

• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with MOM safety requirements and company policies
• Assist with monthly EHS inspections and ensure any issues are addressed & maintain records of the incidents and all circumstances and events occurring
• Perform pre-operation safety checks in accordance with company requirements
• Assist with incident investigations and provide necessary controls after risks assessments to prevent recurrence
• Prepare safety reports as needed and report safety infringements and incidents to management

Job Requirements

• Good knowledge of Safety Regulations and Procedures
• Possess a WSH (Level B) certification
• Candidates with 2-3 years' experience in similar field would be preferred
