About the role
Vin's Automotive Group is seeking a skilled IT Administrator to join our dynamic team in our Bishan Central Region office. As a full-time IT Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting our company's IT infrastructure and ensuring the smooth operation of our computer systems and network.
What you'll be doing
Assist in managing IT functions including hardware maintenance, software application upgrades, and system
installations.
Provide hardware support for printers, monitors, Desktop PCs, Laptops, and smartphone devices, ensuring functionality across all platforms.
Perform hardware upgrades, data migration, and system setup as required.
Identify, investigate, and resolve user questions and
problems related to IT systems.
Perform problem management by analysing frequently occurring incidents, identifying root causes, and implementing long-term solutions.
Troubleshoot issues related to network operations, desktop applications, and hardware failures, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to business operations.
Maintain and up-keep the IT equipment inventory and ensure detailed documentation is updated in compliance with IT policies and procedures.
Manage hardware and software licensing to ensure compliance with licensing agreements and regulatory requirements.
Provide user management support across various systems, ensuring users have the correct access levels and permissions.
Provide day-to-day IT support for employees, addressing a range of technical issues related to software, hardware, and network services.
What we're looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
1+ years of experience in IT administration or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of hardware maintenance, software installations, and network management.
Familiarity with troubleshooting desktop applications, network operations, and resolving hardware issues.
Experience in managing and supporting IT environments including printers, PCs, Laptops, and smartphones.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to perform root cause analysis for frequently occurring
incidents.
Strong documentation and organizational skills for maintaining IT asset records and ensuring licensing
compliance.
