We are searching for a Technical Officer to be part of our diverse team here in Glamco. Our Technical Officers are key component of our operations by providing technical support, installation, testing and maintenance activities (preventive and corrective) for Glamco provided systems in Singapore.

Job Responsibilities:

The Technical Officer is responsible for providing technical services for Glamco and our clients’ systems. The Technical Officer shall support the Technical Team but not limited to the following:

- Provide daily onsite or remote technical support on computer systems, communication equipment, radar or radio frequency equipment, networking, hardware and software systems.

- Provide 1stline response to faults / activation raised by clients including troubleshooting and recovery.

- Responsible for the proper maintenance (Preventive and Corrective) of systems assigned by the Project Manager / System Engineer including maintaining all relevant written records

- Perform project related activities such as deployment, installation, configuration, testing of systems to support the project

- Perform troubleshooting, predictive, preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure equipment and systems are operational including fault troubleshooting, rectification and testing supported by Technical Team

- Identify, plan and initiate required actions to maintain the systems for long term reliability, operational efficiency and improve maintainability.

- Prepare technical specifications for equipment services, system services, contract labor and ad-hoc maintenance services. Supervise and report performance of contractors to ensure good quality and progress of maintenance works, as well as full compliance with contract specifications

- To assist in the managing and controlling of maintenance equipment and spares

- Liaise, supervise and coordinate with contractors and vendors on projects, maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs works

- Support Technical Team in investigation, analyze and determine the root cause of system defects.

- Support Technical Team in providing expertise for new programs and system

- Ensure project and maintenance SLA (Service Level Agreement) and customer satisfaction levels are met

- Any other technical or operations related duties that may be required allocated by Project Manager / System Engineer

- Potentially perform rotating shift (12 hours) duties in the future

Requirements

Qualification and work experience includes:

- Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Engineering Electronics, Communication Engineering or related field

- Minimum of 2 years working experience in the related field above

- Willing to work on rotating shifts (in the future), weekends and overtime

- Willing to work at multiple sites

- Must possess Class 3 Manual driving license

- Singaporean only

Technical skills include:

- Knowledge on IT system and maintenance including computer servers, workstations, network switches and firewall troubleshooting

- Knowledge on Firewall, Backup solution, 2FA solution and Anti-Virus solution

- Knowledge on OT system and maintenance in Radar or Radio Frequency (RF) technologies is a real plus

Co-ordination with projects teams on HR matters with regards to all issues related to workers.

·         Workers orientation including contract signing and company policies briefing.

·         Work Pass renewal matters including workers retention and repatriation.

·         Handle workers who absent from work/ tender resignation letter/ request to change site/ change trade/ home leave workers including air ticket arrangement.

1. Summary of the role

The Customer Support Manager (CSM) is responsible for implementing, monitoring, administering and improving customer service procedures and work flows across APAC regions, specific to aerospace customers. They may directly or indirectly lead customer support teams to acheive best in class customer support. They will establish, monitor and report specific KPI’s and seek to improve short falls. In addition, the CSM will ensure that customer support staff in all APAC regions are compliant to required procedures and performing to KPI targets.

The CSM is responsible for working with the APAC Aerospace General Manager (GM) and local regional management to establish a team that is capable of providing and achieving outstanding customer service.

The CSM is responsible for customer order management of selected customers as well as the aerospace customer order management process in APAC. This includes communication and coordination throughout the entire supply chain to ensure on-time delivery to customers.

The CSM is responsible for supporting customer service, Sales Engineers, Project Engineers and Application Engineers in developing new opportunities and wherever the business needs may be.

The CSM is responsible for assisting in achieving sales and profitability goals.

2. Tasks and Responsibilities

The primary function of the CSM position is to provide the management and coordination of day-to-day operations which support customer delivery as well as the direct or indirect supervision of the customer support team members.

The CSM is also responsible for ensuring outstanding customer service and total customer satisfaction to existing and prospective customers while operating within established procedures. This includes:

· Managing orders from PO receipt to delivery for local customers

· Leading the Customer Support team: Train, teach, coach, monitor, plan and review. Strategize and communicate annual targets.

· Reporting Customer Support team performance & capacity and make recommendations for improvement

· Assist the Aerospace team in scaling to grow, which may include recruitment and retention of Customer Support staff
