Objective of the Church :
The Korean Church in Singapore was founded in 3 Aug, 1980 to help the Korean Christian community follow the will of our Lord and to worship Him.
The Korean Church in Singapore mainly targets the Korean community residing in Singapore who want a place to worship the Lord, but also accept and welcome all of the churchgoers who wish to participate in the worship. The church regularly conducts charitable activities in helping the social needy with its members. Classes, talks and social cohesion activities are also conducted to encourage the public to participate in.
We are seeking an assistant pastor who can well understand and conduct the spirit and purpose described above and can effectively lead our church under the following conditions:
Duties & Responsibilities :
A pastor who has a precise understanding of the Scriptures and is capable of delivering sermons.
A pastor who can lead the church community in the right direction according to the teachings of Jesus Christ.
A pastor who can smoothly lead the church in collaboration with our senior pastor.
A pastor who can work cooperatively with all relevant churchgoers, including elders and deacons, to serve the church.
A pastor who can share and find solutions to the church's difficulties together with elders, deacons, and all relevant churchgoers, considering their opinions.
A pastor who can lead the church community with an active and positive mindset in all communities, both inside and outside the church.
A pastor who is willing to listen to and humbly accept others' opinions and is ready to learn.
A pastor who can well guide all the people in the church in the right direction through continuous study of the Scriptures and prayer.
Essential Requirements :
Education: Graduates of the theological university(Full Time) or A pastor holding a divinity-related degrees(M.div or Th.M) recognized by the Presbyterian Church of Korea with a M. Div.
Minimum 3 years of pastoral experience
- Proficiency in Korean language with ability to preach in Korean
