Primary Roles:

• Manage the financial aspects of construction projects, ensure completed within the allocated budget
• Equipped with professionalism, to provide support to the project team, maintaining commercial information and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and ensure that the Company’s objectives are achieved. Liaise with customer representatives and other third parties on commercial issues including agreement of variations, claims, and any additional payments.

Cost Control and Monitoring: Monitor project costs to ensure align with the budget, track expenses, review invoices, and manage payment processes

Contract Administration: Administer contracts between client, contractors, and subcontractors, ensure comply with the terms and conditions of the contract, including payment schedules, variations, and claims

Value Engineering: Collaborate with design, construction team to optimize project costs, propose alternative materials, construction methods, design modifications that offer cost savings

Key Activities

1. Contracts Start Up

• Understanding & extraction of tender provision, tender clarifications(addendum) project particular specification & drawing for subcontract award etc
• Summarization of list of subcontract award required
• Summarization the highlights of main contract document
• Attending project start up meeting
• Preparing pre and post contracts filing

2. Subcontract Award

• Tabulation & measurement of quantity for each trade
• Preparation of scope of works and seek approval from CM and PM
• Maintain award master list
• Incorporating subcon award check list and compilation
• Source, evaluation and negotiation of quotation with subcontractors
• Prepare COR and catalogue /samples as per check list
• Preparation of Subcontract Agreement / Letter of Award/ Work Order
• Following up on the return copy of the Subcontract Agreement
• Updating of summary of subcontractor awarded list

3. Progress Claim

• Conducting monthly site visit
• Preparation of all V.O claim
• Coordination with site for project manager’s assessment of claim
• Compilation of progress claim and all supporting document to substantiate our progress claim
• Prepare and go through progress claim with CM with updated subcontractor payment status, progress claim summary and relevant subcontractor VO claim / abortive work
• Preparation of EOT claim
• Preparation of Loss & Expense claim
• Submission of progress claim to consultant / main contractor on time
• Verification of Architect certificate / consultant’s assessment including NSC / main contractor payment response
• Prepare and maintain progress claim summary

4. Progress Payment

• Keep subcontractor's claim / invoice / DO file
• Verify and get endorsement of PM, CM and PD on one-time payments and pass to a/c to process payment and maintain summary of one-time payments
• Conducting site assessment (when required)
• Preparation of payment response / certificate, breakdown, payment summary, remarks, recovery summary of advance payment if there is any and other supporting documents
• Get approval from PM, CM and PD – prepare a complete set of subcontractor payment response / certificate together with consultant assessment, other supporting documents, payment file and go through payments with PM, CM and PD
• Fill up monthly cash flow report prior to 1st payment assessment and submit to CM by 20th of each month

5. Variation Order

• Updating records of VO - VO master list (w/- & w/o- Architect’s Instruction)
• Coordination with site for project manager’s assessment of VO
• Preparation and submission of VO assessment incorporating VO checklist form for CM, PM and PD’s approval
• Submission of VO to consultant
• Coordinating with subcontractor & client on the submission of quotation

6. Finalization of Account

• List of subcontractors required for measurement of quantity
• List of subcontractors to be finalized before the main contractor
• Compilation of checklist for finalization
• Preparation of final account and get CM, PM and PD’s approval and submission of final account to client
• Prepare subcon final account and release of retention to get CM, PM and PD’s approval and update summary
• Submission of outstanding product Warranty Card, Operation Menu, Test Cert. etc.
• Prepare and update summary

Responsibility:

• Attend to clients' enquiries and requests.
• Carry out induction procedures with all new staff.
• Check cleaning equipment condition.
• Check work done by cleaners.
• Communicate and relate effectively at the workplace.

The Cybersecurity Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the university’s cybersecurity architecture. Requirements:

• Relevant qualification/certification in university & careers counselling or at least 4 years of experience in a secondary school or student environment.
• Knowledge of university admissions processes in the US, UK, Europe (non-UK), and Australia.
• Experience with international students and culturally responsive practices.
• Strong communication, presentation, and technology skills.
• Experience with German university admissions processes and German language skills are advantageous to liaise with German speaking students, colleagues and parents.

Why this is important to Visa

The VAS Function is a relatively new organization in Visa but has been identified as one of the most critical new functions, specifically to diversify and grow Visa’s revenue both in the medium and long term. The position assists the Executive Steward to manage the team, to be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and quality of all F&B and Kitchen equipment and all pantry and kitchen area, so that all guests will have a safe and wonderful dining experience, ensures that kitchen hygiene and safety standards are meet, through active supervision of the Steward Supervisor, Steward Attendant and Night Kitchen Cleaner. The Assistant Executive Steward must have the perseverance to lead the team to achieve high standards within the work area and to work closely with the Executive Steward so as to lead the team towards the same direction.

Primary Responsibilities  

Manages the Daily Stewarding Operation: Cleanliness and Quality of F&B and Kitchen Operation Equipment

• Conducts briefing and makes deployment to Stewarding colleague daily.
• Makes daily round to check for cleanliness and quality of all operation equipment and kitchen equipment.    
• Takes ownership of all operation equipment, kitchen equipment and hotel property.
• Operation checks, to ensure work flow and system are in order and hygiene standards meet expectation.
• Always communicates with F&B and Culinary team and fellow colleagues to find out about the work flow system and makes improvement with the collaboration system if required.
• Manages team with efficiency of work in the washing of dishes and kitchen equipment.
• Works closely with both the F&B and Culinary teams so as to build a strong collaboration between various team.
• Oversees that timeliness of dish cleaning, returning dish for reuse during high business turnover. 
• Oversees that all washed equipment are clean and sanitised.
• Oversees proper handling of all operation equipment so as to avoid or minimise breakage.
• Ensures adequate supply of operating equipment in F&B outlet through coordination with all F&B outlet managers, through order, delivery, and by monitoring lost through breakage or missing.

Manages the Cleanliness and Safety of all Pantry and Kitchen

• Checks all kitchen equipment for cleanliness, manages the Night Cleaning Contactor to follow up on any unclean area and equipment, and conducts kitchen inspection twice a week. 
• Manages the team to check on functional operation of each Dish Wash Machine, co-ordinate and follows up with Engineering and chemical technician for any faulty issues.
• Manages the garbage collection schedule and also ensures that the recycle program is conducted as per established. 
• Oversees that the kitchen floor is clean and dry at all times, looks out for any potential safety hazard issue and tries to eliminate it immediately.
• Oversees the sanitation of all operation equipment are done as per kitchen’s hygiene standards requirement.
• Oversees that the work procedure in the kitchen are carry out as per HACCP’s requirement and the safety aspect is in line with WSH. 
• Oversees that all HACCP check-list and documentation are updated on a daily basis.
• Leads all the kitchen walk through (WSH / Hygiene / Pest-Control) and rectifies all findings immediately.

Management and Leadership of the Stewarding Team

• Makes routine rounds within the kitchen area during meal periods.
• Supports the Stewarding team to be consistent in service, uses a collaborative, enabling leadership style and to have regular team meetings.
• Drives constant service and system improvement and to be entrepreneurial.
