Core Skills (Some combination of:)

• 3+ years of experience with modern middleware technologies. These might include (Tomcat, Apache, Springboot, SQS, JBoss, IBM MQ, IBM DataPower, Hazelcast, Flink, Connect Direct, SSL)
• Understanding of Linux/Unix systems, networking, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Kubernetes, Docker), and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Proficiency with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, etc.), logging systems (ELK stack, Splunk), and tracing tools (Jaeger, Zipkin).
• Proven track record of automating complex tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reliability using Python, Go, Java, or similar.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

1) Experience in M&E QS scope of works and had participated in tender projects of more than $2 Mil

Project Coordinator

Job Summary: We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join Sunpeak Construction. This role is essential to ensure our projects are executed efficiently, safely, and on schedule, aligning with our high standards of quality and compliance. As a Project Coordinator, you will support project management efforts, coordinate team activities, and resolve on-site issues to drive project success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Site Supervision: Ensure all site work aligns with construction drawings and specifications, maintaining high standards and accuracy.
• Project Progress Monitoring: Track project milestones and schedules to ensure timely completion and report any delays or risks.
• Issue Resolution: Proactively identify potential site issues and work to resolve them by implementing corrective or preventive measures.
• Safety & Compliance: Uphold Sunpeak’s safety protocols and ensure adherence to building regulations and codes at all times.
• Project Documentation: Assist the Project Manager in developing project documents, including schedules, scope statements, and comprehensive project plans.
• Administrative Support: Perform administrative and bookkeeping tasks to support project management operations.
• Technical Coordination: Participate in site meetings, providing updates and addressing technical concerns with clarity.
• Stakeholder Liaison: Work closely with project managers, clients, consultants, and subcontractors to maintain seamless communication.
• Drawing Coordination: Collaborate with drafters and subcontractors to propose, amend, and submit accurate project drawings and revisions.

Requirements:

Educational Background: Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, Building, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.

Skills:

• Meticulous attention to detail, with a strong sense of initiative and analytical skills.
• Independent, self-motivated, and a team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; familiarity with Autodesk AutoCAD is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills, bilingual in Mandarin and English for effective liaison with diverse stakeholders.
