Your Impact and Contribution

You will be part of the PE Team and provide support in the following areas:

· Conducting of PE Lessons

· Preparation of Lesson plan and Teaching Materials

· Planning and Coordinating School PE related events

Roles and Responsibility:

Conducting Assigned Lesson

• AM & PM PE lessons
• CCA sports/ daily exercises
• Supervise and guide Educators, Part-Time Teacher Aides /Volunteers / Interns assigned in aid of teaching activities

Preparation of Teaching Materials

• Plan and decide what PE materials and equipment needed for teaching
• Materials for lessons
• Take videos & photos for lesson plan, work systems, visuals support and transitions visuals for PE/Daily Exercises/ Gym/CCA

Lesson Planning Writing

• Termly themes and tasks analysis of activity
• Weekly lesson plan and flow of activity using a combination of methodology that is pupil-focused, fun and autism friendly

Assess and monitor student’s progress.

• Record and provide PE Progress / Grades for each term

Under the guidance of Supervisor / Senior Educator (PE) for Planning and Coordinating School PE/Sports/Daily Activities/CCA/External competitions

• Develop differentiated Eden School PE curriculum
• Develop differentiated Eden School Daily exercises programme.
• Yearly school Sport, Gym, PE and CCA programme
• Coordinate PE/Sports/Gym fitness related external service providers (eg CCA Gymnastic, Swimming, Inline Skating, Bowling)
• All internal PE/Sports/Fitness events and activities (eg. Sports Day, Sport Carnival, Bowling Day, Overnight Sports Camp)
• All external PE/Sports events and activities (eg. Special Olympics, Inter-School Sport competitions, National games for special needs.)

Requirements:

• Passion in Physical Education and to help special needs students maximise their potential
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Recognized qualification from local Junior College / Polytechnic or University
• Work location: Eden School (Bukit Batok campus)
• Relevant work or volunteering experience in special school, tuition, sports coaching will be an advantage
• Salary listed is the starting salary for fresh Diploma graduate: $2800 and fresh Degree graduate: $3600

Class Support

· Assist the teacher in the class to work with the students.

· Assist the teacher in using Visual Supports and ASD Prompts for the students.

· Assist the teacher to set up the resources and physical arrangements in the class.

As our Teacher Aide (Part-Time), you will be playing a supportive role in class and support our Educators so that they can carry out the lesson smoothly.

This is a 1-year renewable contract position. Our Teacher Aide (Part-Time), will work either the morning or afternoon shift for 5 days a week.

Work hour for morning shift is 8.30am to 1.30pm and afternoon shift is 12.30pm to 5.30pm

Starting salary will be $70 per day of work.

Key Responsibilities:

Assessment

• Conduct functional behaviour analysis and develop Individual Behaviour Plans (IBPs)
• Conduct screening assessments related to school admission, vocational and other Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) related assessments
• Conduct/purchase standardized assessments, develop and finetune screening and informal assessments for school services such as Mental Capacity Assessment (MCA), Placement Screening Exercise (PSE) and any other standardized assessments that can only be administered by a registered educational psychologist

Intervention

• Plan and execute intervention programmes for students with autism in group or individual setting
• Coach key partners to apply educational and behavioural techniques to carry out intervention plans at home and in class
• Provide behavior management support to students and attend to school student behavior crisis line
• Provide classroom behaviour management support if necessary to support the student and the class
• Coordinate activities related to case management of students
• Facilitate training for caregivers / staff
• Any other responsibilities required by your Supervisor

Leadership Duties

• To articulate the Autism Therapist's/Psychologist’s role, scope and responsibilities to teachers, other school professionals, administrators, support personnel, families and the community
• To positively influence the development of programs and policies & procedures to promote best practice in Autism Therapists service provision
• To be directly involved in the assessment of needs and development of Autism Therapists services to meet priority needs areas in consultation with leaders
• To establish and maintain professional linkages to the national and international Psychology Professional bodies.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• A Bachelor in Psychology (Honours) or Masters in Educational Psychology or equivalent
• Desire to learn about Autism and the passion to serve the autism community and their families

DUTIES

Prepare cost estimates and quotations for landscape projects.

Consolidate and submit quotations and tenders for government and private projects.

Co-ordinate and liaise with clients, developers and contractors.

Submit landscape project completion and horticulture reports.

Enforce workplace safety and health regulations for landscape maintenance on site.

Monitor and conduct progressive evaluation of execution of landscape projects.

Attend to clients' request, meetings and provide solution for landscape issues.

Assist various maintenance activities as required

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Diploma in Horticulture or related discipline

At least 2 year of experience in Landscape/Horticulture

Good knowledge of GBiz, Tender Boards and other related websites

Familiar with Treeworks - Tree Pruning, Tree Felling ande etc.

Good knowledge of plants and Landscape designing and improving.

Must have good communication skills and positive attitude towards all clients.

Computer savvy

• Billing, checking patient's details, past invoices, appointment records, and checking payment records using Clinic Assist software
• Assist in appointments, operating theatre, ward, and other related bookings
• Assist in patient queries and divert calls to relevant parties
• Advise patients whether cashless payments can be extended for their visits
• Submission of claims through various insurance portals
• E-filing of patient details/chats with patients
• Prepare instruments and assist the surgeon independently for minor surgeries
• This role will require standing in as a chaperone for patients
