This role is within the Regulatory Compliance Section which is part of the wider Compliance Department at Income. The Compliance Department reports to the Head of Compliance.

The candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with other Business Units (“BUs”) and stakeholders, including the Head of Compliance, in relation to various compliance matters.

Responsibilities:

• Manage review of materials to support new product launches, marketing initiatives and incentive campaigns including product promotions, brand marketing, partners tied up such as bancassurance, to ensure compliance with regulatory and disclosure requirements.
• Provide advisory support relating to existing products to ensure product compliance review process is managed appropriately and in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Advise business units on relevant regulatory requirements, addressing needs in new initiatives and projects.
• Provide guidance to the business on changes to regulatory requirements where required.
• Review internal policies and guidelines relating to Compliance’s review of materials and campaigns.
• Conduct periodic assessment of the review process to identify areas of improvements
• Support any risk assessments, auditing, and monitoring activities in accordance with the compliance program. Assess risks and identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability in the area of product review process.
• Handle ad-hoc tasks/projects assigned by the Head of Compliance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in compliance (e.g., ICA, ACAMS) are advantageous.
• Minimum 3 – 4 years’ experience in regulatory compliance, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
• Experience in the financial services industry (preferably insurance), strong knowledge of insurance-related policies e.g. LIA, FAA, FAS etc.
• Experience reviewing marketing materials for regulatory compliance is highly desirable.
• Possess a collaborative team player mindset with ability to work autonomously with time management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

Role Purpose

This role will accelerate the positive impact of the Procurement department in line with company strategic objectives. The role also manages the complete Procure-to-Pay process and operations, including oversight of the Procurement team delivery in our nominated shared services centre.
