Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
· Develop and execute the strategic vision for the data analytics platform, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
Platform Architecture:
· Lead the design and maintenance of a scalable, cloud-based data platform using Databricks Lakehouse, AI, and ML technologies.
Program and Project Management:
· Oversee data analytics project portfolios, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget while coordinating cross-functional teams.
Technical Expertise:
· Provide guidance on data warehouse solutions, cloud infrastructure, AI/ML model implementation, and scalable data pipelines using tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
Compliance & Governance:
· Ensure adherence to security, data governance, and regulatory requirements, developing and enforcing policies to protect data integrity and confidentiality.
Innovation & Improvement:
· Drive innovation by staying updated on emerging technologies and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements:
Education:
· Degree/master’s in computer science, IT, or equivalent.
· Proven expertise in AWS cloud services, Databricks Lakehouse, and AI/ML technologies.
Technical Skills:
· Proficiency in databases (e.g., Oracle, MS SQL), data modelling, statistical computing (e.g., Python, R).
· Expertise in cloud-native technologies, scalable pipelines, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
· Knowledge of MLOps, microservices, and serverless computing.
Certifications:
· AWS Cloud Practitioner or Architect, Databricks Certified Data Engineer (preferred), PMP (desirable).
Leadership:
· Proven ability to manage high-performing teams, complex projects, and engage stakeholders effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience in healthcare informatics and data governance.
· Familiarity with analytics stakeholders, including clinicians and policymakers.
