They will work closely with the SHWH Case Managers to aid residents with their reintegration back to society.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

1. Oversee security screening to ensure contrabands are not brought into the house.

2. Facilitate the daily operational routine of SHWH or future new site:

a) Ensure the day-to-day needs of the residents and operational requirements of the halfway house are being met.

Warehouse Assistant (Perm)

The Role

The Warehouse Assistant works in the Distribution Centre, reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor and will be responsible for all quality and productivity of his/her own work including but not limited to below activities. He/she will be responsible to ensure all assigned work is completed in the same day.

Key performance areas

· Picking, Packing and Unpacking of goods

· Protect and maintain company tools and equipment

· Warehouse cleanliness and safety

· Other warehouse activities

· Perform other tasks assigned

Your profile

· Minimum PSLE qualifications (With warehouse experience will be consider)

· Experience in warehousing and able to communicate in simple English

· Experience with usage of handheld scanner prefer but can be train

· Able to do simple math calculation

· Able to work on all Public Holiday on the 1st year of employment and on schedule from 2nd year onwards

· Able to work on either one shift rotation when require (8.30am to 6pm) or (1.30pm to 11pm)

· Must be able to work in a team with different race and nationality

· Must be able to follow work instruction

· Must be physically fit

· Compliance to WH safety rules and regulation

· Maintain good personal hygiene and cleanliness

Effective management and communication skills are essential for this role, as well as the ability to handle various responsibilities related to facility maintenance, resident relations, and administrative tasks.

The role of the Operations Executive typically involves managing and overseeing the day-to-day operations of a dormitory. The Operations Executive is responsible for creating a safe, comfortable, and conducive living environment for residents.

Main responsibilities:

• Perform daily inspection, supervision, maintenance of the facility and cleanliness
• Maintain records and daily submission of reports
• Ensure the check-in and check-out processes of residents are done expeditiously and seamlessly
• Respond to residents’ queries and concerns expeditiously
• Manage and enforce in-house rules and regulations
• Induct and orientate new residents on house rules, points of contact and services
• Conduct room inspection during check-ins and check-outs of residents
• Respond to emergency and mitigate situations
• Foster a sense of community and inclusivity among residents
• Organize and facilitate social and educational events to encourage resident engagement
• Any other tasks or duties as assigned by the Management

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in related fields
• Proficient in English (spoken and written)
• Able to work on rotating shifts
• Good computer literacy and proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Good communication skill
• Good organizational skills and meticulous
• Able to multi-task and work in fast-paced environment
• Certified in M&E, Facility Management and/or Fire Safety will be advantageous
