Glam Salon is a beauty & hair salon located at the Heart of Jurong west market. Our parent company have been in the beauty industry for over 15 years. Our clients are mainly from the neighbourhood with large customer base. We offer a huge variety of hair services for our clients as well as other beauty services such as facial and TCM treatments.

We are expanding and requires new enthusiastic hairstylists who are not only outgoing but also a competent team player in order to work with other associates to promote wide variety of beauty / hair packages and services to our customers.

We are looking for experienced Hair Stylists (Full-Time) to our growing family.

(Basic Salary + Commission)Basic requirements:-

Able to do wash, blow-dry, all chemical works (Treatment, Colour, Rebonding/Perm).

- 6 days work week
- Other ad-hoc duties instructed by the manager
- Promote wide range of services and packages
- Excellent customer service and communication
- Hardworking and team cooperation
- Able to commute well with peers / a team player
- Able to speak basic Chinese and English to maintain good after-sales relationship with different racial clients. (Most clients speak English and Chinese only)
- Strong negotiation and selling skills, well groomed and presentable.
- Independent and self-motivatedWhat you’ll be doing:
- Provide all hair services (Cutting, Shampooing, coloring, highlighting, rebonding, perm, treatments)
- Promotion of packages
- Products sales
- Managing bookings and welcoming clients into the store (All staffs required)
- Perform scalp treatments

- 3 to 6 years of experience in same field.

Job Description

· Actively develop new prospects and maintained existing business accounts

· Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on Company products and services to clients

· Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate clients’ need

· Preparation of proposal and quotations in a timely manner

· Closes profitable business that supports business objectives

· Record monthly sales and analyse the business trends, planning for new strategies

· Sales coordination with internal departments to ensure order fulfilment from customers

· Respond to customer enquiries

· Offering effective solutions and support to clients by leveraging on our Company capabilities and resources

· Work closely with all departments to ensure order fulfilment from customers

· Preparation of proposal and quotations in a timely manner

· Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time

Requirements

· Min Diploma with 1 year relevant experience in the related field will be an advantage (Entry level candidates are welcomed to apply)

· Strong conceptual selling, presentation, closing and organizational skills

· Excellent analytical and time-management skills

· Effective negotiation and communications skills

· Self-driven, goal-oriented and motivated

· An effective team player and ability to work independently

Quality Assurance Inspectors examine products to ensure that they meet customer requirements and do not contain defects. Their job duties may include in-process inspection, in-coming inspection and/or out-going inspection.

A strong understanding of the industry

A successful Quality Inspector candidate will have various prerequisite skills and qualifications that typically include:

● Basic computer skills

● Documentation skills

● Written and verbal communication skills

● Attention to detail

● Ensure products meet customer expectations and demand

● An understanding of industry safety standards

● Ability to work well with others

● Perform regular quality assessments on all incoming materials from vendors and outgoing products for shipping

● Ability to analyse the quality and performance of a product

● Resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner.

● Measure product dimensions, examine functionality and compare the final product to the specifications.

● Able to make lot judgement

● Reject all products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations.

● Reporting skills

Requirements:

One to two years’ quality inspector experience Good math and technical skills.

Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques. Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 quality management systems is desired
