RESPONSIBILITIES

The role of Operations Manager (OM) is to be responsible for the strategic management of the school environment, including estate, facilities, resources (inventories/supplies) and processes, to achieve school's objectives as well as day-to-day operations. The OM also plays a key role in school safety and security, overseeing risk-management, health matters and emergency preparedness processes.

As part of the management team, the OM will also contribute towards organizational decision-making and participate in general executive and non-executive functions that the team undertakes. The role will also include the reviewing and enhancement of systems by harnessing technology to improve productivity and efficiency.

The Laboratory of Applied Human Genetics at the National Cancer Centre Singapore is a multi-disciplinary laboratory with specific focus on peritoneal malignancies and sarcoma. The direction of our laboratory is to solve real world clinical problems via sound scientific translation. Since the conception of our laboratory 7 years ago, we have now set up three scientific pillars of Therapeutics, Companion Diagnostic and CAPTIVATE (Target Generation) pipeline. Currently, we are working towards a first-in-human therapeutic developed in our laboratory. We are looking for an innovative, enthusiastic and highly motivated Research Fellow to work with a team of researchers in the area of cancer therapy for advanced metastatic cancers. Interested applicants should have an extensive molecular biology experience to uncover the MOA/structure of our therapeutic using cellular signaling, cell biology or protein structure approaches and possess the desire to translate basic science to make a clinical impact. Discharge Planning

• The Speech and Language Therapists should write a discharge based on the following:
• Documented evidence showing that the student has achieved all the objectives or the students can no longer benefit from the therapy.
• The student to be discharge from therapy services if he/she leaves the school.
• Recommend other services, if applicable to the student and other family members.
• Refer and write a discharge summary, if necessary, when the student is going to another service or an APSN School.

Training and Support

• Train and support teachers, caregivers and other communication partners of individuals with speech, language, communication difficulties.
• Mentor and supervise of support personnel.

Job Requirements:

• Recognized degree in Speech Pathology from accredited college/ university
• Good team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Relevant work experience ranging from children to young adults with intellectual disability would be an advantage
