You will assist in the collection, processing and publication of data on the industrial property market.

You will be required to:

• process and transcribe data from emails and other formats
• correspond with external parties such as survey respondents via email or phone calls to conduct interviews or clarifications
• attend to respondents' queries relating to surveys and data collection activities
• read and extract information from architectural plans
• provide general administrative support

Candidates with background in Business, Market Research, Statistics and/or Architectural-related fields are welcome. You should be meticulous, enjoy verbal communications and comfortable with handling data and related software such as Microsoft Excel. Knowledge in reading architectural plans would be advantageous.

Responsible to set-up and operate CNC Machine Milling, Lathe

• Able to perform simple programming (For CNC machines only)

• Conduct first piece inspection

• Report to management in the event of non-conformance of components

• Adhere to good quality, housekeeping, and safety practices

• Perform 5S

Detailed

• Perform duties assigned by Engineering

• Check Routing Sheet details against drawings are correct before machining

• Maintain good housekeeping in the areas of work

• Always follow Company’s safe working practices and requirements

• Comply with safety measures and practices of the Company

• Report any unsafe conditions and practices to Production Superintendent or Engineering Assistant

• Ensure that a machining and inspection procedure is compiled to meet Quality Management System requirements and Quality Objectives

• Ensure adherence and compliance of the Quality Management System and achieve Quality Objectives

• Check raw material dimension before machining commencement

• Carry out the day-to-day machining operation in accordance with Routing Sheet and required date

• Perform 100% in-process inspection and recording inspection result

• Identity any non-conformance product and inform the problem to Production Superintendent or Engineering Assistant

• Check and report raw material defects / non-conformance before commencement

• Proper handling and usage of inspection devices and production machines/equipment

• Ensure job piece set-up and machining operation is in accordance with Routing Sheet and drawings

• Constant check on machining process and carry out in-process inspection to control the dimension according to customer requirements

• Maintenance and account for the inspection devices and tools issued for use

Requirements

• NTC 2 or 3 in Precision Engineering or equivalent

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience

• Able to operate Fanuc Controller

• Experience in the machine applied for will be an added advantage

• Trainee positions available for interested parties without experience

• Able to read & interpret technical drawings

• Capable of using measuring instruments - Micrometre, Bore Gauge, Profile Projector

· Must be able to work night shift and split shift

· Must be able to work extra hours or weekend if needed

-Serves as the link between direct reports and middle / upper management.

-Plans production operations, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products, utilizing knowledge of production processes and methods, machine and equipment capabilities, and human resource requirements and capabilities.

-Makes decisions on job assignments and work priorities

-Reviews production and operating reports and resolves operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays and downtime.

-Responsible for equipment condition and department housekeeping

-Researches, complies and prepares reports, correspondence, and other information required by management, as well as, identifies and resolves report discrepancies or errors.

-Works with employees to maintain a safe work environment. Leads and supports direct reports to work in a safe manner and to seek improvements in work practices.

-Ensures that product quality and production efficiencies meet or exceed established standards.

-Examines procedures and recommends changes to save time, labor, and other costs and to improve quality control and operating efficiency.

-Observes direct reports to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and productivity standards.

-Verifies completeness and accuracy of direct reports’ work, computations, and records.

-Participates in work of direct reports to facilitate productivity or overcome difficult aspects of work.
