Beyond vaccines, LNPs hold immense potential as delivery vehicles for various therapeutic nucleic acids, offering promising treatment strategies for many diseases. Despite their enormous success, the intracellular transport of LNPs — how they move within mammalian cells and deliver their nucleic acid payloads — remains poorly understood.
