Brief description

The position of Sales & Marketing Manager involves leading and managing both sales and marketing objectives in an organisational and industry-wide level, while championing service delivery excellence. It also consists of leading brand awareness and building campaigns, aligned to the company’s focuses and goals.

Tasks

• Develop, implement and manage the marketing/PR strategies;
• Plan, implement and manage marketing and lead generation campaigns and measure results;
• Develop and maintain a consistent corporate image and ensure that the brand is well communicated across all channels;
• Creation, implementation, and management of marketing plans and activities;
• Manage all social media channels, strategy and activity, working together with multiple teams to develop creative marketing campaigns, monitor trends on social media, ecommerce, digital marketing and technology to optimise campaigns;
• Responsible for the creation of marketing materials, develop and manage marketing/sales budgets
• Develop, implement and manage sales forecasting activities, targets, sectors, markets,territories and set performance goals to achieve company objectives
• Prepare and present sales reports detailing sales, potential sales and areas of proposed client base expansion
• Develop pricing strategies, balancing objectives and customer satisfaction;
• Manage and give direction to the marketing and sales departments/teams
• Coordinate sales and marketing campaigns and initiatives to achieve business objectives
• Meet with key clients to ensure relationships are maintained and developed
• Identify and understand client’s business needs and objectives to develop marketing and sales campaigns

Qualifications and requirements

• A degree in marketing, communications, public relations, business administration, advertising or related field
• A proven track record in marketing and sales
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
• Knowledge and application of a wide range of marketing and sales techniques and concepts
• Enthusiastic and creative
• Strong organisational and strategic planning skills
• Leadership, team management and ability to motivate team
• Analytic ability

Responsibilities

• Handle all data entry using ERP system and excel.
• Generate quotations, delivery orders and invoices.
• Issuance of work orders to production.
• Handle emails and phone calls.
• Manage and purchase office stationery and inventory.
• Ensure proper filing of all documents.
• Fulfill any ad-hoc tasks assigned.

Requirements

• 2 years experience in administrative roles, preferably with engineering firms.
• Proficient in ERP system,MS Excel and Word.
• Able to write proper emails in English.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to handle customers.
• Ability to plan and prioritize workload and handle multiple tasks.
• Have good team-work spirit, willing to help out in other departments.
• Possess the flexibility and willingness to learn new things to gain skills, especially interpreting simple sheet metal drawings, needed for promotion opportunities.

- Responsible with day-to-day invoicing, receipts & payments

- Assist with document collection, preliminary assessment and compilation

- Overseeing credit risk assessments, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments

- Communicate with clients to secure payment for overdue invoices, escalating issues when necessary

- Work with legal or collections agencies for accounts that require further escalation

- Screen phone calls, inquiries, and requests, and handle them when appropriate. Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding credit issues, payments, and collections

- Work closely with both Sales and Operation team

- Assist in tracking the progress of specific projects, including deadlines, deliverables, and meeting schedules

- Organise and manage files, both physical and electronic, ensuring all documents are easily accessible

- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures, ensuring that all financial data is accurate and up to date

- Maintain a high level of confidentiality with sensitive personal or professional information
