Job Description

The Department of Mathematics at the National University of Singapore (NUS) invites applications for tenured/tenure-track faculty positions at all levels beginning in July 2025.

NUS is a leading global university centered in Asia. The Department of Mathematics has about 60 faculty members and teaching staff whose expertise covers major areas of contemporary mathematical research.

Job Description

• Implement and maintain document control processes and procedures
• Maintain and manage all flows of documents either in electronic form or on paper base (including copy, scan and printing jobs).
• Ensure document management according to established procedures and systems.
• Prepare transmittal for outgoing documents and drawings in time.
• Distribute drawings to internal teams.
• Register and record incoming documents and filed/ stored.
• Make sure that controlled copies of latest approved documents and drawings are distributed internally and externally.
• Ensure all drawings/documentation are correctly identified, distributed and filed.
• Prepare ducuments for ISO and other audits.

Job Requirement

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the quality management of machined products to ensure that product quality
• Ensuring that our internal management systems are well defined and relevant in meeting international standards and customer requirements.
• Lead and monitor the QMS incl. ISO9001 & ISO 14001 quality system certification and promote continuous improvement.
• Lead the quality team to implement quality inspection and control and manage non-conforming products.
• Participate in supplier evaluation and management to ensure the quality of raw materials and purchased parts.

Requirement

• Minimum Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
• At least 3 years of quality management experience in the machining industry
• Proficient in using office software and mintab statistical analysis software, and possessing Six Sigma quality management knowledge and skills, e.g. SPC tools & 8D reports.
• Strong knowledge and experience in leading ISO9001 & ISO 14001 quality system certification.
• Proficiency in English and Chinese, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders in China.
