Fabrica AI is reinventing how robots are developed. Currently novel robots take 5-20 years. We are building a design automation platform to bring it down to a month, and have already demonstrated significant progress by developing tile grouting robots in record time. Robotics simulation and reinforcement learning has been advancing a lot making it 1000x cheaper to train robots compared to 5 years ago, and as Jensen Huang said at Nvidia GTC 2024, "the ChatGPT moment for robotics may be just around the corner." A couple other companies are building on the same paradigm shift but we are the only ones using it to automate hardware design, not just software.

Building robots and a design automation platform together brings great synergy - the platform helps us develop robots faster than anyone else and the robots allow us to gather data and do experiments at scale. The grouting robots are already deploying daily at construction sites and bringing value to clients. We are currently negotiating sales worth around 500k USD. This role will expose you to daily operations of managing an ed-tech start-up and facilitate the smooth delivery of our coding programs to students in local and international schools.

Responsibilities & Duties

● Be a key player in the customer acquisition team to onboard new parents to Kodecoon’s community

● Share Kodecoon’s vision and recommend suitable coding programs for students

● Support customer success initiatives like special programmes or competitions, or community events like fireside chats for customer engagement

● Maintain customer relationships and build a strong Kodecoon community. Act as parents’ advocate and manage relationships with them

● Plan lead generation events with key partners like Parent Sharings, trial classes and make sure payment for classes are received

● Work with the teaching team to assess the students and follow up with parents for conversion

● Responsible for handling general administrative duties, e.g. sending out onboarding emails, data entry, sorting out data and research

● Ensure that all customer information is properly documented and updated in our CRM system

● Relationship manager for our Kodecoon’s community, continue to track the progress of students and maintain relationships with parents

● Fluent in spoken and written English. Fluency in Mother Tongue is a plus!

Requirements

Requirements:

• At least 5 years’ experience in relevant research, industrial experience required. Msc / degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or related fields.
• Deep insight in machine learning and deep learning.
• Solid application background, especially in machine learning techniques with computer vision, natural language processing, recommendation system.
• Excellent programming skills in Python/C++.
• Experience with one or more deep learning libraries and platforms (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc).
