Key Responsibilities:

Legal Advisory

• Liaise with the AHOF and HOF in respect of pupil records, rewards and sanctions.
• Maintain appropriate links with teaching colleagues in all sections of the school and foster cross-curricular links where appropriate.
• Liaise with members of the Learning Support Team with regard to individual students who may have exceptional needs, to ensure that those needs are understood, planned for and met.
• Liaise with pastoral staff, including form tutors, Heads of Year, the Heads of School and the Head of Careers on matters pertaining to the study of English.
• Contributing to the strengthening of the parent-teacher partnership in individual and whole school initiatives as and when required.
• Assist the AHOF in developing effective links with the wider community in order to extend the study of English and enhance teaching and learning.

Key Responsibilities:

Onboarding and Offboarding: Conduct orientation sessions to familiarize new employees with company policies, benefits, and expectations.

1. Process employee separations, conduct exit interviews, and handle off-boarding procedures.

HR Operations: Providing a full spectrum of HR support such as onboarding, payroll, performance review, insurance, government claims, and claims, etc.

1. Handle operational matters for onboarding and offboarding of new hires.
2. Responsible for employment contract preparation, confirmation, and exit clearance.
3. Manage employment pass applications, renewals, and cancelations.
4. Process NS makeup pay and government-paid leave applications/claims.
5. Coordinate local training programs and maintain training records.

Employee Engagement:

• Help organize engagement activities to foster a positive workplace culture.
• Compliance & Reporting:
• Ensure adherence to HR policies and assist with compliance and reporting.
• Payroll Management:
• Manage the compensation and benefits, including ensuring monthly payroll & staff claims are processed accurately.

Skills and Responsibilities:

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field such as psychology, business studies etc
• At least 3 years of experience in HR, you have worked in either a generalist or specialist role.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite – will be an advantage
• Curious and takes the initiative to clarify and improve workflows
• You are a self-starter who can handle changing requirements and work under tight timelines
• Proficient understanding of the Employment Act.
• Proactive, meticulous, resourceful and able to work effectively, independently & collaboratively in a fast-paced dynamic work environment.
